Do you still have this model? I purchased M28w and I hear some kind of squeaking noise not too loud though when it's on sleep mode and it stops when it's out of sleep mode. Can you test it to see if you have the same issue?

This assumes the printer is connected to the network - I need to reset the printer in order to be able to connect to a new network. Useless.
