i once was fortunate to be allowed to do a official remix of pump up the jam so i was just wondering surfing around and found this one and i suppose the best way to say this is as it is. your work is better then i would have ever been able to. you as a producer propably know it speaks volumes when one gotta admit someone is simply better :D .. no hard feelings tho but i really gotta say (putting envy aside) .. a really good job i love it when a remix stays true and close to the spirit of the original. sure crazy new remixes can become great work too but to capture the spirit of the original to give you that second where you head forgets we are in year 2023 something and you feel like pressing that play button on the casette recorder you carried around while skateboarding to have some music playing while girls are watching .. you forget about taxes and about your backpain and you feel like you just traveled back in time. time travel is possible it takes magic and this track has it ! big respect

Impresionante montaje que edita la canción tomando partes y logra hacerlos únicos a lo largo de 7 minutos. A partir de los 5 minutos puede ser cansino, pero es mejor que infinidad de remixes escuchados en las discotecas de aquellos años. El sonido grabe del bajo está mejorado y en mis potentes altavoces suenan genial, Buena edición del vídeo. Echo en falta esa combinación de instrumentos con el bajo. En canciones actuales se prescinde del monótono pum,-pum de la batería y los tintineos de los platillos. Pero una voz potente, con una nueva composición, podría ser la bomba. El rebote que oímos aquí es único, el tun-tun-tun, tun ,tu-tú ru-rú... y no volví a escucharlo nunca. Me gustaría una nueva versión más actual sin una voz tan chillona, que estaba bien en aquella época, pero que ya no se escucha.
