The problem was Ya Kid K didnt signed a deal with the record company ARS production. So the ARS (not the producer) hired a french model Felly Kilingi to promote this massive hit. Later Ya Kid K sued the record company and won ❤. On the 2nd video ( Get Up) and after the Milli Vanilli scandal Ya Kid K was present on video and record sleeves.

When I first heard the story I was confused. Because Ya is very pretty. So thought she was the one that replaced the more girly artist. So finding out Ya was the one taken out was very confusing. Lol they are both very pretty. Guess it was just an image thing. They wanted a more feminine and sexy look
