I'm VERY interested in this bike. Only problem is, I had already pre-ordered an Ariel Rider Kepler (which was about the same price) a whole month before I became aware of this ASTRO Pro.

@@Rucker99 I already have the Kepler, and I just can't return it. It's just too good. A part of me does still "want" the ASTRO Pro for the design alone, but not only can I not justify another basically $2000 on yet another bike (I have 4), but I'm also too impatient to wait for the "September" shipping date.

You're getting an amazing ebike with the AR. They're among a few that use metal geared hubs so the torque is insane and stays that way for most of its life, unlike others with poly geared hubs for less noise. If I had to choose again I'd still go with the AR over this.

My son was riding it and didn’t lock the battery into place and it fell off the bike into the concrete while I was riding it.

As a mid-50s IT guy who works from home too much and owns another e-bike I ride recklessly like a 14yo with no helmet. This bike looks sweet and has mid-life crisis toy written all over it. Lets double our life insurances before we consider wearing a helmet.

I have 3 severely herniated discs in my neck and one of my facet joints that’s partially collapsed. So… I can’t wear the helmet or go bouncing around in a mri cycle on the freeway, or turn my head to look over my shoulder.

There’s nothing special about this bike…it’s a 750w hub motor..and every ebike has mechanical disk brakes or hydraulic
