I doubt that any living being can have the ability to not feel pain, as pain is a warning system to the body that something wrong is happening, and if it comes to the heat... it's not really insane heat that would kill you in an instant, if I remember correctly being on the surface of the sun for one second wouldn't damage you, and that's way hotter than the aluminum can even be. Some of the cockroaches even escaped, showing that they weren't killed instantly.

Grease roaches can express emotions, we may not be able to understand it but they can. Emotions are a necessary trait found in most complex organisms.
