Its the leidenfrost effect, around his hand and the liquid nitrogen is gas because of the heat differences but that effect stops after 2-3 secs. You can mostly see that effect when you put water on a very hot surface

Well, relatively speaking, he's right - you should be more concerned about the air around you going to 99% nitrogen than freezing your hand. It's not uncommon for people to die working with liquid nitrogen, and it's almost always asphyxiation (usually because they went into a lift or other confined space with a container of the stuff).

Water breaks electronics, as the minerals in it conduct electricity and theirfore cause short circuits. Nitrogen doesn't do that, liquid nor solid. It is completely harmless to the phone. All it does is freezing the phone and temporarily changing the current resistances in the circuits shuting down the phone as long as it is at such a low temprature.

Are you really that stupid there is no water involved and it said the water resistance is great. He was using liquid nitrogen. for example I would quite happily leave my phone in rubbing alcohol overnight because I know it will work. The only reason water stuffs up your phone Is because it has minerals and metals in it which will short circuit parts of your phone, liquid nitrogen doesn't have that. liquid nitrogen isn't water. yet he was saying water resistance is great without any evidence. just because something is in liquid state it will stuff up your phone.
