Hey on your dust bin for the clean station, does the top (the silver part that has the cyclone pack and pre-motor filter) fit right into the bottom part? Mine clicks in, but it doesn't 100% lock in the right location.

@@rxonmymind8362 no? Dyson does not have a separate unit that empties the trash for you. You have to manually empty the bin for yourself. It’s done automatically like Samsung. They are the only ones that I know of who have that and are the only manufacturer who has a bag. Original commenter makes it seem like everyone who makes vacuums have this and uses bags for it when it’s the only one.

This is ridiculous. They want you to buy another contraption and BAGS for emptying a BAGLESS cleaner? I have a bagless vacuum cleaner and it literally takes me 30 seconds to go outside and empty the dust bin into the garbage. I have a very severe asthma and allergies and I've never had any issues with that.

I honestly don’t see the point of this system. It takes two seconds to take the container off the vacuum and empty it. This takes longer and you still have to empty the bag when It’s full

My mother would say something else to break and cost to fix, just dump it in the garbage. i rather put the $500 into auto vacumm. what has become of central vacumm systems

I completely agree with Austin's comment below. This is overkill. I own a Dyson stick vacumn. Easy enough to empty the dust bin into the garbage without any mess, no extra gadget, and NO BAGS. This is a gimmick. Self cleaning bins for robot vacs make sense. No human intervention until you change the bag once every 30 days or more. However, as usual, great review Adam.

Just cuz u can't see the dust when emptying the Dyson or any vacuum doesn't mean it's not there, some of us are really sensitive to it so I being one think this is neat. Samsung actually has a good video that shows how much dust gets airborne when emptying your trash in the bin.

You are correct. When you empty the Dyson, dust is expelled into the air, however, for many of us it is not a problem. If you have have severe allergies as you do, go buy one.

$200 dollars to reduce the dust released back into the house when you empty it to 0. Great for allergy suffers especially those with Asthma. Even going outside to the trash can be terrible; you empty it and the wind blows half the load into your face and clothes. Its expensive but worth it if you have the money and suffer with allergies.
