Engine wise Hyundai engines are very smooth and redefined. Builtwise Nexon is strong. I'll prefer Venue for the long run due to its less maintenance and sound engine quality, afterall engine is the backbone of any vehicle. you can still see old santros running on roads due to its engine performance but not tata indica because all are in the scraps. however, Tata has done many changes in engines but still facing a lot of problems like Fuel pump problem in Tiago models upto 2018, and vibration of all engines after 3 4 years of usage. I had Tata vehicles earlier but now using Hyundai engines and found them better.

Nexon is better overall: - Build Quality wise - Turbo Engine in base variants - Better suspension - Sound quality is better - interior looks premium - Well spaced car in this segment Venue you should definitely consider if: - 4 Cylinder NA Petrol Engine - Higher Variant costs much less - You get ADAS (camera based) - You get better fit and finish - Overall service of Hyundai is better For me I prefer these three things: - Overall Safety - Service Quality - Engine Refinements

Venue❤ simple, neat, clean and gentle car... Interior looks simple n neat... Exterior dimensions looks small comparef to nexon but still looks like real SUV.. side and rear view are nice and better than nexon.. 4 cylinder DOHC engine is far better than 3 cylinder 2 inline SOHC engine Nexon

Interior of venue looks more simple and premium, nexon also a good looking car but if we compare both engine than venue engine is more reliable and far better for long term use. And about build quality, both has no big difference because both got good rating, but if we look at fit and finish nexon need to improve.

Personally i have visited nexon n venue. I am 6 ft tall and not comfortable in nexon if driver is of 6 ft along with the passenger sitting behind the driver. While the venue is 5* comfort when i am comparing it with nexon.
