What a life saver. Was using this tv mi 4a pro 32 inch (since we got a newer 50 inch tv) as my external monitor with mbp. Despite the text reading issues it was still usable until I dont know what happened and everything first got fully screwed (all visuals became fluid as if a "painting filter" was switched on). Then fiddling with the settings and restoring to defaults everything became ultra contrasty and was not viewable without a headache. Played around with all possible settings and couldn't figure it. Finally, from this video I realised that for HDMI devices we need to make setting changes separately through "inputs". Thanks a lot! Love the simplicity and lack of clutter in video!

Hello... Always Love your Videos.... Subscribed to you Immediately Before Byuing the MI TV.... Keep up the great work One question.. I am using a Firestick on One HDMI and my CCTV (Dvr) box on HDMI2 .... However, the BACKLIGHT (Set to 50) with DYNAMIC BACKLIGHT (off) cannot be changed for two different HDMI Channels... On Changing the Backlight to a low setting for HDMI 1 ... it also comes down for HDMI2 and HDMI 3 ( And even for MAIN ANDROID SETTINGS/ and PATCHWALL) In short .... Backlight Settings stay the same for ALL channels All thru.... For Android TV, Patchwall, HDMI 1, HDMI2, HDMI3, AV, etc......

Is that panel IPS or VA. MI is telling they ship VA panels in MI tvs. But in one of your videos, you told MI 4A Pro you received is IPS panel. Is VA panel they use in mi TV is good enough and give good picture quality with sufficient brightness and good contrast. I am in the plan of buying this in big billion sales. But VA panel is making me to think again and again. I have one 49" full hd LG which is IPS. So the confusion. Please help me choose. Thanks.

Gosh !! Its been THREE YEARS AGO I WAS HERE. *Thanks to you 👍I am using the settings prescribed by you since then only* that I had to increase Brightness from 48 to almost 55 especially for HOTSTAR and ZeeZ. ( Dont know why, but they are mostly Dull)

It's sound is so bassy your setting still doesn't work (sound setting) While watching a movie sometimes sound comes unclear especially while they talk in English + when someone talks slowly (dhire) then sound comes uncleared.

@@SumitGaming- If the question was for me, I actually ended up getting the Iffalcon K2A instead of the Mi TV. Was cheaper and with pure Android TV unlike the Patchwall interface that the Mi TVs used to offer at the time.

#mrtechsingh are the display settings applicable for Mitv 4A 43 inch TV. In that review you recommended a backlight setting of 20 only. Of late I am noticing that the picture is a bit dark while watching on netflix
