The reason noone makes those is noone is actually buying them. The recent Asus Zenphone releases all were on the smaller side, but they go big again now as well, given their sales suffered for it. And actually small stuff like the Unihertz Jelly series are super niche and have next to no market share ...

@Jerome This is false and lies fabricated by influencers, hordes of people baught zenphones, people who others would of naught other things exclusively naught zenphones devices, the phone did sell, it just didn't sell significantly because Asus is never going to appeal to the general public with two years of updates and because the market is saturated. Small phones did not inherintley "Not selling" and that's simply not true. Proof of this is that while 30+k people still baught zenphones no one is going to buy the zenphones ultra the small phone was a niche that had its own consistent user base that DID buy them.

Just upgraded from a Nord 3 to the Nord 4, what a difference, especially in battery capacity. I'm quite a heavy user, sometimes I had to charge the Nord 3 2-3 times a day. Honestly the most appalling battery performance I've ever had in a phone, so much that I had serious issues going with another OnePlus now. But so far with the Nord 4, only dropping maybe 10% in 3 hours of heavy use. They really have improved heaps for us heavy users, thumbs up OnePlus 👍👍

I was actually looking at getting the Samsung S24 FE but this phone kept showing up on my algorithm (thankfully). You get way more for your money. Premium level for half the price. I've bought the 16g ram)512gb storage model for £409 (UK) direct from Oneplus (they give you an extra 100w charger free). The battery life is amazing (massive 5500 mah) but the charging is crazy fast . Takes roughly 20 mins to get a full charge. Functionality and build is perfection. Transferred my old data to this phone easily. It helps you on 1st setup. You also get 6 years security + 4 years os updates guaranteed. Get this phone. Promise you , you won't regret it.

It's about cutting out the middle man and maximising their profit, it's another profit stream, on top of their several other streams eg bloatware adds, and payments by those that wants your data, selling proprietary cables to upsell and overcharge, forcing wireless devices then selling their own for more money. Nord 4 offers a much better battery and performance, also a way faster charging. Both the phones have a great software, it's upto you whether you prefer OneUI or OxygenOS. A55 probably has the better cameras tho. I'd recommend the Nord 4.

Looking good apart from the Selfie Camera which I think is the Weakest Link in the Camera Setup which is the opposite of My A35 which I think has its Selfie Camera as the Best Performing one. Nord 4. The build is premium. The bezel are so thin. The processor is way too good. Camera is good and It will get Oxygen os 15 in December. Oxygen OS 15's animation are faster and smoother than Iphone.

Hi, Greetings from the USA, truly enjoy your vids when I manage to catch them early. Much more than the "other big UK cell/tech reviewer". Your personality & sense of humor reminds me of my early 2K-2K16 online & personal British friends. Only problem is 50%? Of the phones you review actually make it to the USA. Like everything, except Vegemite (Y I know that's Australian) some things don't translate+ the "anything Huawei" ban. My Question on this phone is both price & spec wise, won't it be similar to the very similar 12R? & DYK if it'll be sold Stateside? I needed a new cell & just picked up a 12R during Amazon Prime days. Just arrived. Already have an iPhone 14 Ultra Max (too new & good to trade in & great cameras/software but tiny/horrible battery life, & it weighs a ton) + a 2023+ RAZR basic Flip. Underwhelming overall but cheaper than the brand new $1100-$1800 US Samsung 5-6 Fold. Watched your pre-12R & GI Purple Special edition unboxing vids. Didn't see listed a plain 12R review. I like the form factor & size of the new Nord 4, however if it costs as much as a 12R or even 12 if on sale, it's not an option. Yes a lot of the not for the US cell's are available new through various channels but have ZERO return or warranty availability. Thanks for & Keep up the great reviews & vids! Personally IDGAS about absolute camera quality as long as the cell has even a 4 mp decent camera. Editing & Dig Zoom software can always be downloaded. Ta.
