I preorded the phone as by the time I was done with the student discounts and promotions it was $970 for the Z Flip 6 512gb and a screen protector for the cover screen. Then T mobile was also running a promotion and gave me $500 for my Pixel 6 which is a few years old now. $470 paid monthly for 24 months I am happy with my purchase.

I still have my Z Flip 3 in pristine condition, after being used as a daily driver for 18 months. My GF used it for a couple of months too as an "emergency phone" when she lost hers in an Uber, and it still looks and feel like new. Nowadays I own an S23U and a 15 Pro Max. Tried a Pixel 7 and although I liked the size a bit more it wasn't that different in weight, and besides coming from an Snapdragon and Apple chip, the Tensor feels like dragging a cart full of stones. I always try to wait for the revision of every style, and now that Samsung finally released the Z Flip 5 v2 is the time to upgrade my Z Flip 3 haha, I can't stand another second of a giant slab in my pocket. Pretty excited to have mine in silver shadow color delivered tomorrow or Saturday

I liked the look and external screen of the Razr more if I gotta be honest, but Motorola's presence in my country is almost non-existen, the Razr+ is $200 more expensive than the Flip 6 here, has 0 extras besides a charger, and we have a special edition of the Flip 6 that comes with 3 years of warranty and 1 accidental screen replacement for free.

I pre-ordered the Z flip 6, it's my first flip phone since owing the Sanyo Katana 2 😂 The Motorola looked cool but I need to have consistent updates due to the fact I use my phone for both personal and work. Coming from my current S21 Ultra 5G this will be interesting to my workflow for sure. Keep up the great work!

Sticking with my Flip 5. Just not enough compelling changes to upgrade so I'll see what they come out with in a couple years but phone tech peaked a few years back and I can see they are struggling coming out with the next new shiny thing every year.

I like the looks and functionality of the Razr, but just feel like the Flip is built better and will last longer. Not saying it has to last forever but at least 3 or 4 years. I'm just not confident in the Razr lasting that long. I trust the quality and longevity of Samsung over Motorola. That's mainly why I'm choosing the Flip 6 over the Razr. Put in my pre-order today...

Flip 6 comes tomorrow, replacing my Flip 5. I'd cancel the order if I saw this review about the battery. All of the tests seemed to indicate it was an improvement, but apparently not. The deals weren't so obvious this year, so I should've stuck with the 5.

I need I new phone since my s21 is broken. Debated switching to apple, but decided not to. Now I cant decide on a phone. The only reason I'm hesitant on the Motorola flip is because of the negative comments about the updates. With this one, it sounds like the battery is one of its weaknesses.

I just got mine today! was due to be delivered tomorrow but arrived early. I went for the peach variant it's really nice in person much better than it looks on the website. I'm not sure how i will like the phone since i'm coming from an iphone 13 pro but i'm setting it up and can't wait to start using it. Biggest concern is it's top heavy when open (makes sense though) and i always have long nails how well will the inside display cope with that.

Well obviously anyone using an iPhone should switch to anything that's not one. You'll be getting an upgrade by default. But anyway, you can always get a stylus if you have long fingernails. They have many different types on Amazon.

Just preordered my flip 6. I had my fun with it in the store, but now I'm doing my deeper research. I used an upgrade from US Cellular so I'm not missing out price wise. I was planning on upgrade from S21+ to S23+ just because my backglass is broken and the upgrade available. Love your videos. Very entertaining. Im not sure why your battery life is so bad. So many other reviewers say 7 hrs normally. Plus some battery test videos show 9 plus hours. You seem a bit Moto bias but fail to mention OS and security support plus durability. Feature rich phones don't necessarily make great long term devices. I think the Razr is hands down the more compelling Flip and would easily be the choice here if Lenovo would just get their crap together and support the damn device after you buy it.

Xiaomi managed to put in a 4780mAh battery and it charges at 67W (no wireless) in their new Mix Flip while keeping the same weight. Samsung needs to step up their game. And not even talking about that 60hz outer screen.

Slightly larger battery and the CPU is supposed to be more efficient but now with the added AI stuff it probably turns out to be about the same as the 5, maybe a bit better. Haven't seen any real testing though.
