Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G | Unboxing & Full Tour

Unboxing the Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G, a £699 UK smartphone boasting a flexible triple lens camera, ColorOS 7.2, gorgeous AMOLED screen tech and enough grunt for gaming with PubG Mobile and Call of Duty. Ahead of my review, here's a tour of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro's specs and best features, including a camera test and performance benchmarking.
For this price I was hoping for a Snapdragon 865 chipset like the OnePlus 8 and Xiaomi's Mi 10T. Still, the Snapdragon 765G can cope with games no problem and you've got 5G built in - and that's an upgrade vs the 720G packed into the Indian model.
The 48MP primary camera is bolstered here on the Oppo Reno 4 Pro by an Ultra-Wide lens using a custom IMX708 sensor, for improved low light photography and video. You also get a 13MP telephoto zoom lens to play around with - stay tuned for my full verdict in my review.
Battery life will hopefully be solid, and you have that 65W SuperVOOC charging tech to get you powered up to full in just over 30 minutes. Media fans should also enjoy the Reno 4 Pro 5G's AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate, and the stereo speaker output.

Honestly LOVVVVE oppo phones. Was living in asia for years for used oppo for years, I've had the F9 for 2 years. Dropped it off a motorbike going over 70 more than once, dropped it face down on a regular basis and not a scratch on it. Can wait to get this x

This is honestly the best phone ive ever had. Had it since 2020 and yet it still beats or is on par with my zflip4, iphone 13 pro max & s22 ultra. Definately a beast of a phone that is built to last.

Great review as always.. It's a lovely phone, I will wait for the full review but looking at it, I like it.. It's smart, & okay the 765g chipset is a little disappointing for the price, BUT we know the 765g is a decent chipset & performs jolly well indeed.. It's 5G so future proofed & it's a nice screen, they've made it a little different to accommodate most things.. At least they've put a type C headphone input in to accommodate also, but there is plenty of wireless headphones to choose from also, so there is that! Overall it's a lovely phone.. I'm changing this from the OnePlus 8 Pro for my middle phone to next purchase! (Realme 6 Pro, Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G, Oppo Find X2 Pro) 😁

I own the Realme X2 Pro and can vouch how good it is. Unfortunately the only bad issue I have with it is no OIS. Apart from this, it's half the price with better specs than the oppo. No need for me to upgrade as yet then.

£600-800 is the new sweet spot for the average consumer with little reason to spend the £1200 on flagships unless you have the disposable income. We will see flagships continue to decline in sales as consumers focus on value. Now the choice in Europe in that 600-800 range is expanding we can pick and choose what features and components are more important to you? The Reno 4 Pro is another great choice and has most what I would need and would save me £500 over the S20U, only losing out on a few things, most not essential to a solid experience. Cheers.

I bought Pocophone f2 pro few months ago with Snapdragon 865 ,,,, & it's price was very near to this Oppo Reno 4 pro with S.D 720 G 💩 even ignoring S.D 765G which is the latest mid-range Chipset of 2020? Oppo got out of mind , why would customer pay nearly a flagship level price only for fast charging ، Display & camera ??? & What about performance & speed ??? After one year you will find phones with S.D 720 G or less , doing hiccups 👎
