I've been a Pixel user for a few years, but before that, I had a few Moto G phones and they always impressed me as budget blowers (the karate torch being a feature I miss). This looks like another fine addition to the range. Maybe not something I'd buy for myself, but it looks like an ideal phone for most users (let's face it, most do little beyond texting, TikTok, Facebook etc) and particularly older users, who care less about fancy features, but appreciate good battery life.

I just got a Motorola edge 50 as a backup phone that's quality is becoming my daily driver for some reason. I've always had top end phones but it turns out I don't really need all the extras as I simply don't use any of them. I want to see how cheap I can go and moto spitting out budget friendly phones every other week I'm keeping my options open.

I really like Motorola phones as they offer good value for money. The Moto G35 looks like a decent product at a competitive price. I would say, however, if you can stretch your budget a bit and find a deal for the Moto G55 model for an extra £20-30 I would definitely recommend it.

Processor is 1+3 +4, A76+A55, which is not bad, for the price. With good antenna and without metallic frame it can be worth to buy on budget.

Very niche question (probably) but does it work with the Meta Horizons App and the Quest 3? I have a Moto G14 and although I can connect to the app and it recognises the headset (I can see the battery levels and all that) I cannot get it to stream the screen from the headset! I've tried every suggestion the internet has to offer. It works fine with my old Samsung phone but not the Moto. Cheers for any help you may have

A bottom bezel is useful, it pushes the navigation bar a little higher, making it easier to reach. My only complaint about the G series is that Motorola is choosing the specification wrong on the higher models. The G7x should get an Oled screen, and the G8x another two performance cores in addition. The way it is now it makes no sense, with some higher models having some worse specs than lower models.
