Great news Chris, but I'd still argue that even at the new revised price, there's possibly better out there for the money. I've loved the 5T and 7T, but this may well be my last One Plus handset. It'll be very interesting to see what Nothing do with the phone (2) next year 🤔

Great video Chris 👍 As a previous 5T user and still a current 7T user, I do love One Plus. However it seems the 7T was the last great 'groundbreaking' model in the T series. If I'm really honest, when you compare the specs for the cost, I'd be more tempted by the Nothing phone (1) or one of the latest offerings from Oppo, Asus Zenphone or many others around the £400-500 mark. Come on One Plus, you haven't wowed us for a while .....as for the alert slider ..... gutted 🤨

They only removed the alert slider to add one more little thing to nudge people towards the 10 Pro and/or the coming 10T Pro lol, it's nothing to do with making space for the (smaller) battery

I'm quite pleased with my 10pro as is. No complaints with the performance at all. But by God, thank you for mentioning the hole-punch camera placement. Just about every smart phone this year opted for the ugly top-center placement. I find there is no better place for that hole-punch than the corner! It's practically invisible no matter what orientation you use the phone in.

How is the software and battery? I have a OnePlus 8 Pro and I'm getting a bit disappointed in the software bugs. The camera keeps going out of focus during videos and photos, it's lagging during videos too. My battery is getting sucky, even when it's never in high performance mode. Are you having the same problem?

Why is top centre an issue? As long as the camera hole isn't massive, it's literally never in the way. Corners are an ass when gaming. S22 Ultra you forget it's even there

That is one of those non issue people turn into some sort of major "flaw" for no fucking good reason. Why not get a Realme GT2 Pro for roughly the same price except...QHD res, bigger battery, 256gb, slightly lighter, etc. Not 1+ I know but 1+ have had a lot of throttle issues over the last couple of years. The UI isn't very different at all either.

I have the 8T and I can't see any reason to upgrade. It's the same phone 90%. The only major changes are the processor and cameras, however I already have great performance with the Snapdragon 865 and camera wise I am pleased. Unless the 10T goes on a sale for about 350-400 euros, I don't think there is a reason for me to switch it up.

They literally took the body of the Reno 8 pro and added the 10 pros camera module. OnePlus excuse of foregoing the alert slider due to space is just bullocks, they are just lazy to make too many tweaks. Te absence of features like wirless charging and ip rating is not a deal breaker because it's priced super low for a flagship phone. However the absence of an alert slider and a pure form of oxygen OS might be the reason why people will be reluctant to pick up this phone. Good phone with decent specs and mediocre software.
