Fun treat, I installed last night (December 5th 2024....7:30pm)while running some deliveries on my day off, I was driving and plugged my Phone in and the charge animation read driving with a car icon in it. No one has mentioned this yet, but it was a cool feature of the new allocated space.

Am i the only one who hate these pill-shaped crap everywhere on the ui along with the new apps icons and quick settings panel. Yes one ui 7 brings some good stuff as well it's not exactly all bad but for real pill shaped battery icon, what is this xiaomi. SAMSUNG needs to give us the option to bring back the old icons pack as well as remove or change this pill shaped battery and notifications. The now bar is actually okay if it stayed pill shaped in my opinion.

I don't see a huge reason to upgrade. Sure, the new chip offers better performance and battery life, but the S24 Ultra is still an excellent phone-super fast with great battery life. If I were you, I'd hold off on upgrading and wait for the S26 Ultra instead.

OneUI turned out to be much better and smoother than expected 😃. Though it has a few iOS vibes but at least not so much how the leaks showed earlier. But at the end these changes do look neater wether it's copy or not. Excellent job when it comes to UI update this year 😃

Good lock is awesome I set a holiday color theme throughout my phone . Also i set simultaneous audio. I prefer one ui over ios any day because of open OS and pop up view multi tasking and ability to download anything including APK files . I also want Samsung to add personal voice w implementation where it can say phrases in my voice and multiple voices using AI like eleven labs . Also the now bar for music album art is awesome

Beta software always comes with bugs and issues. If you're okay dealing with that, go ahead and try it; otherwise, it's not worth it. That said, I haven't encountered any problems with the OneUI 7 beta on my S24 Ultra so far.

This is like how to go in past and degrade. (when it comes to design). They couldve added these features without changing and ruining the ui. They should market this call transcription thing, but i know they wont coz all they can do is copy apples bad stuff but not copy the stuff that they should copy from apple including marketing. Experience of one UI is utmost great. It holds me to go to Pixel and Sony even though I have both apart from Samsung s24 ultra but I always feel Samsung android exp is very very good and provides better customization and extra options. Example you won't get double click to turn of the display in pixel and sony. Battery details again good. Auto blocker very useful. Double click on power button to customized where in pixel it will be always camera. Behind tap is also there. So many things I can go on in Samsung which other android phones are not providing. Samsung S24 ultra with Snapdragon & one UI 6 or 7 is perfect blend to shake to perform ❤

Multitasking menu is very old. The had it years ago and then it got changed. So going back to the old days👍 Other things that got lost or changed should be fixed again too.. Like keeping the small notidication dot on the app icon even when you swipe away the notification from the notification drawer. They removed that and now I feel I often need to leave the notification instead of just swiping it away and still have the app icon remind me there is a notification. Miss that..
