@ read official statement please. Your assumption is incorrect. There is statement “up to 6 years” it doesn’t mean A16 will get 6 years of full Android major version updates. It’s just marketing trick and it should be very clear

@kusov4748 Ok, so the marketing material that specifically said 6x os updates is a marketing trick? Now sure this phone might not be able to get 6 years of os updates because of how little power the hardware has and to be honest with you I think the S23 models and the Z fold and Z flip 5 should recieve this many updates. However, once a company promises a certain thing, they have to keep that promise. Otherwise, they risk their reputation. And honestly I don't think Samsung would like to break its promises.
