Yesterday I bough A15 5G (6/128) but mine is not laggy as yours, in fact smoother than the 4G variant! I have all my Apps installed. (And yes, that 2 GB extra RAM doesn't matter that much in terms of opening app when there is no background process).

I bought the A15 for my wife but she didn't like it (she was used to the moto software). Since my Poco X3 was dying I started using it myself and found it really slow. At this point I connected it to the PC and via adb I removed about 200 software packages. Now it flies! The real problem with Samsung is bloatware!

Yeah but this is about optimization and the chipset itself. G99 is designed to be a 4G chipset and whilst the D6100+ offer 5G, it does also offer the same build as the G99. So in order to save some battery health, MediaTek and Samsung themselves turned down some of the performance. Making it as efficient as the G99 with less powers. But this is actually the first year that the 4G addition is actually better than the 5G version in terms of performance. Because back then the 5G would have better performance but the 4G would have better camera features, or even better camera itself but less performance.

That's the difference between the build quality for the A15 4G LTE and the A15 5G. The A15 5G has a matte finish on the back and the A15 4G LTE has a glossy finish on the back. Also, the 4G LTE has a darker frame than the 5G.
