Hi Timmy, great video! My hotspot connects to my Chromebook however when I go to make a search on chrome it says ‘site cannot be reached’. Any way to fix this?

You could try using the internet on your phone, to make sure your phone definitely has internet, but if your phone has internet and it's not coming through on the hotspot, I would say your phone company might not allow hotspot use. Apparently some phone companies don't allow you to use your mobile data through a hotspot, it can only be used on the phone. I could be wrong, but if that's the issue, your only option would be to contact your phone company and see if you can switch to a different plan or something to allow hotspot use.

My Chromebook says no Internet... My phone has the unlimited data plan and my Chromebook connected to my home Internet just fine

Sometimes unlimited data phone plans don't allow you to use it for a hotspot, because they don't want you to get that plan and then just use it as your home internet. It's quite a sneaky move by service providers if you ask me, but if it's not working I'm guessing that's why.

If Wifi is turned off, you just need to click on the switch next to where it says "Wifi" to turn it on. Then it should find all the available wifi networks and show them in the list.

That's strange, would you be able to send me a screenshot of the hotspot settings app on your phone? Different phone brands and models can be quite different, so you might need to tap on a hidden option somewhere. But I can't offer much guidance without seeing it. I'm sorry you feel that way, I try to have a reasonably good balance. I used to do shorter videos with more presumed prior knowledge, but I would get a lot of comments from confused people who didn't already know some of this stuff.
