On Primes it works great tying it off to the axle post.

Is there a benefit to using the top limb vs the bottom limb? What supports the arrow longer?

Some folks prefer going to the bottom limb, as they are concerned about activation cord interferance with accessories. In most cases, this is not an issue.

i cant believe theres no rest timing for vane clearance. Not all bows have the same speed. On slower bows you want the arm staying up longer. Doesnt seem this rest is timeable.

You can adjust timing on where you mount the activation cord on the limb itself. Farther back towards the end will let the rest support the arrow longer. If you want less arrow support move the cord forward toward the riser.
