I am currently using Samsung Galaxy S21+ and when this phone released I was so excited and really gonna buy it. 1 month later I found out that this phone is recalled and I was so upset and disappointed. I bought Galaxy S7 edge instead. S7 edge is really was a good phone but I always wanted Note 7 and I think Note 7 was the best phone Samsung ever made. The iris scanner, Type-C charge port etc. It was inovation. But end up badly :( really sad

They did that ages ago. It's called the Note Fan Edition. It's a Note 7 minus the bad batteries. Korea only afaik, and I think it uses CDMA networks only

If it were me, I would disassemble the phone, put the Galaxy s7 Edge battery in this model, but I remove the connector from the Galaxy note 7 to the s7 Edge to do welding. then everything was normal with the note 7
