The Honghao S12 eScooter boosts two 1200W BLDC motors for a total combined power of 2400W, this will propels it to ~55km/h in an instant. The nominal 48V 20Ah drive battery will provide a range up 80km in normal driving conditions. The goodies don't end here and include single swing arm suspension with advanced long travel shocks that integrated heavy duty load bearings, programmable trip computer, motor power tweaks and lightweight aluminium alloy body making the total weight just 29kg which is ~10kg less than a Dualtron.

I own a dualtron raptor love my scooter alot of fun my friend owns this model of scooter but the 2000w model I must say for 48v it's a nice ride and the price is very good the plus of this scooter compared to dualtron is that you can change the handle bars easy with out any modifications

Yes the Honghao S12 is very a very good deal for the money. It has good speed, good acceleration, good range, well working suspension and it's not very expensive. You can also have a look ay my newest scooter review, the Wolf Warrior by Kaabo, it's simply insane, same electronics and power tranain as the Dualtron Thunder but almost half the price!

Yes, a lot of power to weight ration, but the best is that you get full force moment from the first RPM of the motor, accelerating a lot more faster than a regular gas motor.

N-am mai văzut modelul ăsta, deşi am studiat la greu ofertele de pe aliexpress. E luat din altă parte ? Pare destul de bine făcut, ca şi calitate a execuţiei. Ca design, apreciez ghidonul dintr-o bucată (ne-pliabil) şi prezenţa pipei, care face simplă schimbarea ghidonului sau modificarea distanţei până la el. Prin schimbarea pipei cu una de lungime diferită se poate schimba şi manevrabilitatea : pipă mai lungă - sensibilitate mai scăzută la virare, precizie mai mare. Din păcate, foarte puţini producători de trotinete aleg soluţia asta constructivă. Nici măcar Minimotors nu o foloseşte, dar măcar la ei ghidonul nu e sudat de tija furcii. În ce priveşte comparaţia cu Dualtron - acela este originalul, toate care împrumută (fură) de la el elemente de design sunt copii. Nu le pot spune clone, fiindcă ar trebui să fie identice. Puţin probabil ca un chinez care încearcă să tragă la xerox un Dualtron să vină cu vreo îmbunătăţire a originalului. Personal, singurele neajunsuri pe care le pot găsi unui Dualtron sunt : 1. Preţul (justificat în mare măsură prin costurile cu proiectarea, calitatea execuţiei şi renumele brandului). 2. Greutatea (al doilea preţ plătit pt. performanţă şi calitate). Dar, atâta vreme cât oricum nu-l poţi urca în apartament, nu prea contează că are 30 sau 40kg. 3. Suspensiile prea rigide pt. un utilizator de greutate medie. La problema asta am văzut la un moment dat o soluţie, sub forma unor seturi de amortizoare cu diferite grade de elasticitate (cele 4 piese separate ale suspensiei pe care le prezinţi ca fiind un dezavantaj - de fapt sunt customizabile, ceea ce nu e posibil la designul dintr-o bucată decât dacă înlocuieşti toată suspensia). Până la urmă, totul se reduce la preţ. Dacă nu îţi permiţi un Dualtron, la ce anume eşti dispus să renunţi pt. a scădea preţul ? Brandul, calitatea, fiabilitatea, performanţa ? Garanţia este o altă problemă, deloc de neglijat în cazul unor produse de 1000 - 2000 euro. Dacă sunt bani câştigaţi cu greu, nu-ţi vine să-i dai la risc. Garanţia oferită de chinezi este o chestie foarte gri. Sigur este că dacă ai probleme nu vei scăpa fără cheltuieli şi/sau bătăi de cap majore. Motiv pt. care consider că în România piaţa pt. aceste produse este efectiv goală. Cu vreo 2 excepţii, la noi nu există societăţi care să aducă/producă trotinete puternice de calitate şi pt. care să asigure garanţie şi service. Oare de ce ?

Intr-adevar calitatea constructiei este peste medie, deja am ~ 300km si sunt foarte multumit de cum se comporta. Si eu sunt bucuros de varianta aleasa pentru ghidon dintr-o bucata ce nu dezvolta jocuri, cat despre pipa reglabila este o idee foarte buna. Suspesia se comporta foarte bine, eu am 85kg si este perfecta pentru greutatea mea, posibil sa fie mai dura pentru persoane mai usoare. Firma producatoare din china ofera si garantie pentru piesele ce nu sunt direct stricate de utilizator, de asemenea ofera orice reper necesar pentru o viitoare intretinere, lucru mai rar intalnit la alti producatori chinezi. I just saw a youtuber video where the guy had a accident due to the hidrolic brakes... it turns out that the cable brakes may be better as if they fail they simply wont close, if hidrolic brake fails it may bite the disk... thus not good...

Not really, if the hydraulic fails then you lose brake force, just like the cable one in case if it snaps off.

@@TechTronic9000 don't forget the case where the system may have been poorly purged, apparently one or more bubbles were enough... the guy ended up in the emergency room of a hospital, thanks to some people that by casuality saw the incident... the bubbles, apparently were over heated by the braking action creating a sudden expansion and contraction.

The Honghao tops them all, it's my daily driver, yes it's heavy but it is faster than a scooter, makes almost no noise and it's thinner than a scooter so you can "battle" with the traffic.

The controller has memory and will save and store all info such as km driven, number of battery charges, etc. The motor selector switch is not shown on the display, it's a hardware limitation as it basically shuts down one of the controllers along with the motor. Yes it's a brutal scooter, with hard start mode (motor punch) and no power limiter from the controller (max output: 100%) it will flip a wheelie or will spin the front wheel furiously. I have slackend the screws from the levers to "extend" the cable distance making it a bit more tight. Be sure to subscribe for more eScooter reviews. Thanks!

Thanks! The suspension lifespan depends a lot on the riders weight. I have several friends riding riding this scooter model, one has 1000km and it's still on the original. You will need to find a different brand with similar design. If you didn't know, some scooters looks the same in design but slightly modified specs. Example, I live in the Philippines and the equivalent design and similar specs to Honghao here is a brand called Double D Hi-Tech Version X. You can check the Facebook page. Version X looks exact like this.

Yes it is good, it will need some maintenance such as new brake pads and suspensions but they are cheap to buy and replace.

do you have the tube or tubeless version, I had 2000+km when i have replaced my first tire due to it being worn out. Also use an anti puncture fluid.

I have this model under the UK version Chaos Freeride 2400W and i am having problems with the battery reaching 5 bars. Ive only had it out of box 3 days!! The battery says green which = fully charged but LCD is saying 4. I leave the house and it goes to 3 extremely quick. Anyone ideas????? Thanks

You don't need to remove the wheel, just take the tire out through the side where it doesn't have an arm. This scooter doesn't use split wheels like other models.

It actually has a rather wide deck, you might even be able to fit both your of you feet one next to the other. I usually run it with one foot front and the other one rear as when you give it more throttle you need to balance you weight forward to keep front wheel traction and also to try to balance the acceleration which tries to throw you back :)
