Make sure your bobbin case and the silver case are attached to the magnet, I always have this problem when I clean the bobbin area and this has always resolved the problem.

I am getting an error message on my 790 pro as soon as I turn my machine on. It’s a green mat (fabric?) under the foot. The mat thickens changes, and the foot goes up and down. What the heck does this mean? The only way to get past it is to turn my machine off and back on an again. If I X out of it, it comes right back.

Do you know why I’m getting the error message “Embroidery module is updating. Do not remove module.

Same issue. What I found was that the hand wheel wouldn't turn. so I wondered if it would turn without the hook and race. I removed them and gingerly turned the hand wheel, and it turned properly. So I restarted the machine without the hook and race and all was well. Replaced the hook and race and, again gingerly, sewed a test line. Now working. Hope this helps.

I got the 1010 error message and I tried snapping the thread cutter and restarting but nothing! I also took out bobbin case and made sure all was good the and nothing! Any other ideas?

I have Bernina 790 plus. I have 2 issues. 1. Bernina presser foot is not going up and down if use the button. But if use the rod to move with the leg it is working. 2. My black bobbin outer steel cover is cut. Please 🙏 help in this regard. I am from India

When I see Error 1010, it usually means ‘you forgot to close the bobbin door.......again. Sigh”

1010 message did not clear after I snapped it down and restarted

It may be time to pull out the bobbin, bobbin case and race to make sure you don’t have any threads stuck behind the race.
