What if i wanted to only destroy the storage resource while keeping the Resource group, since you advised against deleting the code that creates the storage account

We exported the env variables which have service account credentials, tenant id, subscription id etc so all the resources will be created using that service principle unless we start a new shell

Script only have export commands, you can execute each command manually as well, az login with authenticate you with your personal user but setting those variables means you are using a service principal for authentication. Bdw what is the issue you are facing?

Thanks for coming back.I was facing issue related to subscription_id earlier where I have to add it in provider block earlier and also inorder to do Service principle creation I have to run azlogin earlier... both the issues are resolved when I ran export commands in terminal now... Do we have any automated way to run the sh along with TF execution when we have to run export commands in terminal what's the value add in .sh file ? TIA
