Let's be real, some apps are more optimised for ios, other are more for android. You won't notice in real life if an app is going to open 1 sec faster than another, but *you will notice if your phone is lagging or is still smooth.* For me, Iphone X won.

@@noel478 note 9 started from behind but i caught up to iphone after a while...yeah you are right about optimized apps...But you forgot that RAM management part... And i think as both of the devices are not much diff. from the price and flagship iphone x performed well... But i would say it was good to see that Note 9 60 Hz refresh rate and speed was much better than the iphone... Edit: iphone is the clear winner though...
