Reason for certification: Old rule still stands good, Passed certification 1st time: Jump start to work on the technology, to know over all services and offerings. Pass it (or renew) 2nd time: I didnt hv the chance to work on entire offerings and still need to know other services and WHAT'S NEW!!!

it's outta 1000 so that's a good score since the pass requirement i believe is 700 / 1000. I'm going to go with the course material you used and take it in 4 weeks time to binge 6 hours a day xD

Congrats on passing. Here are my 2 cents being a Sr. Software Engineer and working under cloud providers. I have 3 AWS certs, letting the solutions architect expire a few weeks ago. They're somewhat worth it if you don't have a lot of experience to back up. They may give you an extra pay, but I found an employer and your team cares more if you actually know the services and concept rather than having the cert. We've come across people who have certs who have no idea what they're doing. Once you have experience under your belt, certifications are useless unless you want a DEEP DEEP dive on how to build environments/services.

Hello, I’ve been offered a place on two bootcamps, one deals mainly with azure and the other AWS. Career move, so no experience. Which do you think is better in terms of earning potential and career path for a newbie. I’m thinking I’d take this path then move into software dev later.

I've been taking Jon bonso's practice exams. test number 5 I got a 72% and on test number six I got a 84%. So I thought I was ready to take the actual exam but then I went to whiz labs and I did horrible on their practice exams. Their exams seemed harder than bonso's. Do you think I should go ahead and take the actual exam or use whiz labs until I do good on their practice exams?

Hi Soleyman. I have 9.5 years of experience in the IT industry (software testing : UI and API). I am planning to take an AWS certification. However, I am not sure where to start. I have no work experience in cloud computing. Will it be wise to start with the preparation of Associate level certification directly? A lot of cloud practitioners are calling foundation level certification as skippable. Can you please provide your view point here?

passed my CCP with 2 weeks of prep on the first go without hands-on experience. I found Tutorials Dojo practice exams ($15) most useful and helped me a lot. If you go through all the mocks and reviews you should be fine. No point in spending extra money. I don't think the Udemy ones are worth the money. P.S. I have a CS degree so understood the concepts (but not how they applied to AWS). And to be fair did hard revision for a week before. I did the exam with check-in in about 35 minutes. So key takeaway for me is make sure you know the materials on tutorials dojo along with the free AWS resources and you should be fine.

I took the exam they used the word "intermittently" I know different s3 storages but the word felt like "terminate" means archived. English is my second language and I feel stupid not knowing such a basic word. Even after knowing concepts couldnt answer due to damn word. I passed the exam anyway but I wont forget "intermittently" word till death.

@learnfromramayan8176
@learnfromramayan8176 Жыл бұрын
@@aniketpurohit4739 Thanks for the question. I prepared from a cloud guru and then practiced exam dumps. Yeah, the exam is a little tough because the questions lay very specific requirements and I have no in-hand experience with services. Try to differentiate all the services by a key point and you will pass. For eg CloudFront and global accelerator. a global accelerator is a superset so theoretically wherever the answer can be CloudFront, global accelerator can be an answer too. Now when to prefer CloudFront over globalX is tricky. Just know those tricks. Please don't mind my example because I just learned theory and have no experience but you can definitely clear exam through what I am trying to convey.
