I was able to compare Us variant and Hk variant dual sim of iphone 11 and I really noticed a big difference in quality of the video camera. The Hk variant seem to have bad stabilization compared to the US variant. Not sure why so I went for the US variant. Such a huge difference in the camera whch is so important for me 🤣

I have iPhone 12 Pro Max, my model number has “ZP” as last two letters before “/“ and based on the chart its should be “Hong Kong and Macau”. But the thing is, it doesn’t have physical dual sim card, i have got this phone brand new here in Malaysia from official retailer. I don’t use FaceTime that much so can’t tell if anything is not working with it, but with Whatsapp, never faced any issues or problems.

Okay i have a japanese iphone 12 and i figured a way to handle annoying shutter sound...so you basically go to shortcuts and create an automation such that every time camera app is opened the volume turns to 0% and when you are out of camera app the volume turns up to 100% or what % level you want .

Nice. I use the shortcuts automation for other things like when I open navigation. I have it set to max volume when I open maps. Also I use it for creating my own gaming mode to block messages as ios doesn't have one.

Yes, as mentioned in the video in some cases people have reported issues using Whatapp not all otherwise Whats app is as mandatory app used n by everyone. With iOS 14 version lots of issues have been fixed HK variant are know for audio FaceTime calls but with every iOS update apple fixes lot of issues.

If you are living in uae go for the Middele East version. If you are traveling frequently go for USA version (There is no international iPhone version. As long as an iPhone is Factory unlocked, it can be used internationally (in any country in the world). Yes if you don’t see FaceTime icon go to settings and change the region to Oman or Egypt even you can try Philipines and you will see the FaceTime icon you will be able to use it but with the change of region and time unfortunately that’s the only way ( you should be running iOS 13.6 and above

To be honest esm is not so practical as a dedicated dual sim, but some advantages of Esim is doesn’t affect battery life as a dedicated 2 SIM card, having said that apple doesn’t want to keep it for every region except China model

American version you can turn off the shutter sound in Japanese you can’t ( except if you use Live Photo mode)
