Had this set now for about 1.5 years. It's ok maybe a 6/10. Only the new cameras I added are able to display in HD while on cell signal. The original 4 on nvr only display in SD, all while in the XMEYE APP. Also, alerts and face detection seem marginal at best unfortunately. Do you buy chance know how to factory reset the hiseeu ptZ POE camera?

Agree user manual is disappointing. I'm no tech guru but I have them working with default settings. Still trying to figure out couple thing have 2 camera that fog up every day and stay that way for hours. Then a different 2 cameras that dont take good night vision. When i get that set up i can work on alarms. though they were supposed to spot light dectected movement for better views.

Since I connected this NVR to my Sagemcom F@ST 3896 cable modem/router, I've noticed that my internet speeds are really slow. Is it possible to operate this without connecting it to the modem/router? I don't use the app.

I have installed the same cctv kit according to this very clear review, thanks for that. Do you know if it is possible to display two channels together at the same time in 1 view in stead of 1, 4, 8 or 9 channels? And is there a function to automatically switch between channels in full screen? Like switch every 15 seconds between the connected channels. I hope you perhaps have a solution for both options.

I purchased this system back in July and we still can not get it to work. The live shot works well but we cannot get it connected to our router via WiFi or hard wired. We can’t even get the opening menu screen as shown on this video or in the printed manual. Also, there no mention of having to purchase a hard drive when I bought this SYSTEM. Do you need this hard drive to access the internet? If so, can some help with a make and model of hard drive I need to purchase? SO FAR VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

First of all thanks for the video. I am kind of new to this CCTV setup thing (: I was thinking of only buying the NVR and use different CCTV cameras. Do you think I will be able to use other branded POE CCTV Cameras connected with this NVR? or will they have to be only Hiseeu CCTV cameras for them to be compatible with this NVR. I was thinking of using Hikvision POE cameras. Do you think its possible. Thanks again and keep it up!

I can’t view it from my MacBook in any way at all. I had recommended software downloaded but Mac wouldn’t open it because it ‘couldn’t scan it for viruses’ 🤦🏻‍♀️. Another software download just didn’t accept my passwords at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s the only issue though. I have the app installed on my phone so I always have access. Just sometimes it would be easier to just click straight into the while I’m on my Mac 🤷🏻‍♀️. It’s supposed to be a feature but I cannot do it 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have the newer 3TB dvr which is the screen and NVR in one, with 4 outdoor cameras, but can be upgraded to an 8 camera system by simply buying another 4 cameras. It’s great 👍🏻
