I have been using ROG8 pro since February, and initially my impression was the same. However for some reasons this phone gets better with time. I have no ides why though! When I play at 90 FPS I have never seen it drop below 80FPS and at 60FPS I have never experienced anything below 57! I have used all the ROG phones so far and I believe this might not be the best specially since it is to costly! However for someone like me who doesn't want a dumb(iPhone) just to show my status! This works pretty well! The secondary usb port supports a display output, I don't need to carry my laptop when I travel just a dock and my external SSD and this phone can replace my laptop!

i also still own rog 3 and it still works good overall even without gaming its performance is quite good and even i own a 15 pro max and only 5g speedtest on airtel sim on both phones i always got better speed on rog 3 and phone is still quite smooth and i like android os for all my work rather than ios

Service centre wala bola motherboard change krna pdega 40k lagenge me nikal gya wahase...fir delhi me hi ek repair wale ke pas rog3 pda tha display fta wala ...uska part nikalke mere me dal diye.... but usne vibrator, rgb light, flash nikal liya kamine ne mere phone me se😂 but utni dur wapas jane ka mn nai tha jo thik krna tha wo to hogya 1.5 years hogye uske bad chalra hai abhibhi ...but battery backup bahot km hai abhi... 1.5 hours se pehle hi bgmi 90 fps pr khatam hojati puri...and normal screentime 3 hours pr chal jata 60 fps pr

After this video i watch many videos about rog 8 pro and found that this phone can handle genshin impact at high setting with 60 fps and surprisingly it gains 61fps in the game and beat iphone 15 pro max (if you dont trust go watch dame tech's video) and in pubg without any frame drop it can run 120 fps. The real problem is bgmi's optimization.

Vary bad experience with me, back panel gap issue every time 😩 Still a unique mobile. Software update experiences very bad, 3 4 months gap between every Software or patch update. Runs very smooth, but without Cooler playing game heats up mobile very fast. You can make omelet while putting in charge and playingat. Not cool like other older rog mobiles. Too much drawbacks for this model.
