Dude is there any other version of this game? i have been really searching for this game since this was my childhood best memories, but the one i played had Japanese looking characters and power shots were lot different....But this seems more like Caucasian version of that game.... and even though gameplay is similar but the one i played was much better.... If you know that game then pls let me know. I would really appreciate it. Thank you...

@@Prabhu_Raj_Lama it could be Captain Tsubasa II, back in the day when multicarts for the NES were popular, that game (CT2) was fetaured in most cartridges (that at least I used to have and the ones that I currently own) but most of the time the game's names were different

@@el_cores No, its CT 1, the animation for CT 2 has them running sideways while CT 1 they run forwards. Unless they made a completely new animation from scratch (very unlikely) this was a localized version of CT 1.

Great upload! I wonder if anyone has ever tried speedrunning this. I used to play the shit out of this game back in the days. I knew it inside and out, and I think I still have a physical folder full of notes that I took playing. Notes like how and when and with what player I scored. The match duration on the clock is always set, but different actions and animations hurry it up, so I can picture tactics like scoring as fast as you can and then manipulating and advancing the timer.

I made it to the final only once against Seals. And then Damon shattered my dream of winning National Tournament. At one stage I manages to level the score 2-2 but then 3 howling shots by Damon and its over for me.😔

En sí visualmente no anda lejana a lo que es Captain Tsubasa, solo que muchas de las animaciones se debieron de reducir drásticamente para darle un toque de un partido menos anormal por así decirlo. Curiosamente esta versión suele ser más fluída que la de Captain Tsubasa en algunos movimientos, esto especialmente se nota en la versión de Sega que deja un poco más atrás al mismísimo captain tsubasa (Solo que sin tiros ultra especiales por así decirlo). Personalmente me agradan ambas versiones, sea la americana como la japonesa, pues ambas quedaron bien a mi parecer.

This version is a western edition in 1992 of Captain Tsubasa 1 on the famicom which was released in 1988 already. Should you be impressed? Please do not...Captain Tsubasa II: Super Striker was released in 1990 - yes, 2 years in advance of Tecmo cup - and is lightyears ahead of TC. Storyline, animation and above all, the OST was and is still impressive for an 8-bit game in that era. I dear to say the OST of CT2 SS is even better than the Genesis surrogate. Sega fans screaming about the Genesis version from 1993, please tone down...Tecmo Football Cup on Sega genesis is funny, but nowhere a match for 'Captain Tsubasa 3: Challenge of Kaiser' on SNES released in 1992. Today CT2 Super Striker is still considered as the best installment in the series, followed by a respectable distance of CT3. The Game Boy version 'Captain Tsbuasa VS' is also a top tier game and a very good variant with 2-player feature (multi-link).

I think that most versions of CT games are good. Yes you have to keep in mind that this version is a rebranded version from 1988 CT1 on Famicom, it's still a good and payable game. CT2 is a classic but I think that the sega Megadrive version is very good too. It's lacking in presentation compared to CT2 and CT3 but its gameplay is a bit faster that CT3 and I like that.

Hola, estoy buscando el nombre de un juego para la nes q jugue de niño pero no recuerdo el nombre: basicamente es un juego de plataformas con un hombrecito q lanzaba dinamitas, en cada nivel se enfrentaba un jefe distinto y tenia q completar un rompecabezas creo q con la figura de un fenix, si no completabas el rompecabezas empezabas desde el nivel 1 de nuevo pero con las piezas q ya tenias, no recuerdo mucho del juego pero creo q en el primer nivel el hombrecito salia de un barco, este fue el primer juego q llegue a pasarme completo y de verdad quisiera saber cual era. Me prestaron el caset para la famicom pero no pude leer el titulo porque estaba en otro idioma no se si era japones o chino.
