Tecmo Super Bowl III - Final Edition

Almost as quickly as we began, we are at the end of the Tecmo line of NFL games. You can certainly tell that the pressure from Madden was influencing the design here. While basically looking identical to the previous entry graphically the presentation and for lack of a better word "mood" is unlike the other Tecmo games. Almost as if it is trying to shed it's arcade skin and emulate a football sim which I think worked against it because it lost some of the charm. Still fun, but I'd say the other two are a bit better. Also coming out of the gate announcing that this is your final game in the title is a bold strategy.
Sidenote at 4:50 unless I'm unfamiliar with some obscure ruling, shouldn't this have been a touchback? It was ruled a safety and I'm not sure that was correct.
