The game actually is pissed, like no joke. In Tecmo Super Bowl, there's a mechanic called "juicing" where the game will play harder dependent upon your record, how far you are into the playoffs, and how bad your team is. So if you go 16-0 with the Colts in the Super Bowl, the game is programed to be the most extra difficult it can be.
