I own a tecno camon 20 pro 5g as a backup phone and it has amazing performance for it's price. Not sure how long the support will last but I consistently get security updates in the 1 year I have owned it.

Dang this phone has almost everything. Only complaint from me is the software longevity. Personally I want 3-4 year of Android updates but other than that, for an equivalent $269 price, its got everything

Sadly it doesn't have a macro lens, which is great to have on those occasions when you need it. Also, it's a shame you didn't pull out the sidebar, I wanted to check if the screen translate option was on it like it is on the Realme/Oppo/OnePlus family of phones running ColorOS. So far, while I'm disappointed it doesn't have a macro lens, it's the closest contender yet to replace my 2020 Realme 7 Pro, the specs of which are getting really hard to find on recent phones, ie. dual sim AND dedicated micro SD card slot AND macro lens, AND screen translate. This latter point, the screen translate, is a real must for me as I live in a multi-lingual environment and use this feature all the time.

I don't think the cpu is poor, I have a Tecno pova 5 pro 5g it has the same cpu and it's very good after some tweaking I got it to run genshin at highest settings at 45fps and can handle multitasking like a dream especially after android 14 furthermore you should not only the soc's raw performance but also how the company optimizes it
