What's funny about the Dori VA drama is that all of the Japanese VAs are Japanese, all of the Chinese VAs are Chinese, nobody gets upset about them, but once it comes to the English VAs they demand that the VA match the skin tone of the character they're playing or have darker.

He has a history of animal abuse, except until the wanderer drama. He has been only sending those photos to furry groups and he has said "i'm going to keep abusing animals till every last one of furries are dead". He also do not play genshin impact at all, To make his fake girl profile look more real to other people he used a random anime character as a pfp which was of klee and people assumed she(she was he in reality) was a genshin player, he posted these kind of stuff just to trigger people just for fun. Just letting you know that it wasn't specific to genshin at all, people should stop this whole narrative that genshin players are animal killer which is disgusting without providing a solid evidence specially the Gacha CC who spread this misinformation without even looking into it, Every CC just looked at a reddit thread and went with it like all this information is true, but the scara drama about CN fans seeing him as a threat as a male was real, Visual venture creating a video knowing the information provided is not 100% accurate is just pathetic

Genshin is like other games, it just stands out to the other games cus it's more poular since it's available on multiple platforms and it's an anime-ish-like rpg explorer game. ( a mixture of basically anything popular nowadays, anime is popular, exploration is popular for example like probably Minecraft, and who doesn't like fighting?, with multiple mechanics on each character.) Like any other popular game, it has toxic fanbases, when undertale became popular, there were loads of toxic fanbases, when league of legends and cod became more popular there are people that talk sht alot, hell I recon there's also other games with alot of toxic fanbases. It just says alot about society, when a game becomes popular, it just basically means its playerbase is increasing. When normal players rise, the toxic fanbase also rises. Now onto the players swiping their credit cards for characters. I understand that these types of ppl are actually ruining their lives. But on one end it's not really the games fault, or the fanbase (i think, idk i haven't seen ppl encouraging ppl to spend money on the game in a straight face) These ppl are the people who have spending issues or gambling habbits, it's their fault for ruining their own lives using the money they have. There are countless other ways that can make you happy, using that money and they chose to do it in genshin. I understand it's popular and all, and that it's making them hooked into playing it and eventually spending money into the game. But don't other games also do that?, like lets say any other game with in game purchases, as simple as mobile games and as complicated and as popular as call of duty warzone. (I also get that there are other games that don't include these types of money grabbing ideas, but it's just straight business dude, become popular, abuse societal issues and make money). I think I still have some things to point out but I just wanna end it here on this note. The toxic genshin community are like any other game's toxic community, we just stand out cus we're more popular. So please for the love of God, not all of us are toxic, so don't oversimplify that all genshin players are just no-life, weak or snowflake, and fat losers. Cus that certainly doesn't make the rest of you (other video game players) any better, cus at the end of the day we're all wasting our lives somehow by simply complaining about societal issues on the "internet".

Also, they got banned and the hacks got patched. KFC event wasn't really overcrowded to the point of shutting down. The reason why the event was shut down was because of chinese laws, you need to warn beforehand that the establishment is going to have a big event bringing in big crowds. KFC didn't do that, that's why it was shut down. The bomb in a con also wasn't from a genshin player, rather from a China/Anime hater.

Hearing all of these again in a row, you have to think just how "minor" the vocal community group are, because it can't be from the same group each time these incidents happen, it would have come from dozens or maybe hundreds not just from the Chinese fanbase but from the global/western groups too. You might even have to dump in the 3rd party groups who are jumping in on the hate-train to add more fuel to the fire who don't even play the game. Because if that percentage remains consistent, like how they did with the first anni or the ones that do death threats, the situation will only get worse in the long run.

There's one thing that I noticed when it comes to Genshin that constantly appears and that's treatment; treatment of the game by the community, treatment of the game by content creators, treatment of the game by Hoyoverse, and treatment of the game outside the realms of Genshin Impact (i.e those unrelated with any of the previous groups). Genshin Impact by itself is alright, especially in this day and age with Fontaine where things have been improving albeit in increments. There's a reason why I say the game itself if fun and that I have enjoyed it regardless of its current cons AS A GAME. However, after hearing how people feel about the game in a much more bigger circle rather than just the game itself, I've started referring to this game as Hoyoverse's "League of Legends" or the new League of Legends or a League of Legends-wannabe (in terms of stuff unrelated to the game itself). Both are games that are highly criticized for their communities and just some of the stuff that happens around it. Both are also made by Chinese companies...funnily enough (what is it with Chinese video game companies and them having games that garner toxicity?). Now I personally don't really dabble with the community apart from stuff relating to leaks, fanart, builds/guides, theories, and some help here and there. Other than that, I just focus on the game itself. But I have heard about the game's dark past and despite what we're getting now, I do think that the game still needs to step up more, especially now that we have Honkai Star Rail, and the fanbase needs to be taken care of, both globally and in China where, as we've seen in the video, the players are lot more vicious. And on the topic of HSR, I find it sad that that game is getting more love than Genshin and hell even Zenless Zone Zero. Not to say it's bad game or anything (I've played it and I highly recommend it), but even tho the Fontaine story is over, that doesn't mean you should throw Genshin back into the bin just like that. And yet, compared to what we got from the Version 4.3 Special Program, it will not compare what we got from Honkai Star Rail's Version 1.6 Special Program (I still can't get over the free Dr. Ratio). And I do feel like because of that, there's something generally wrong with Hoyoverse in regards to Genshin. But at the same time, there's also something wrong with the community. I don't know if this is because of China (or it's just an Asian thing) itself or if the rise of the internet has caused certain groups to develop ulterior motives, but I don't like it. Will me learning about this stuff make me drop the game? Never. I enjoy playing this game and I will continue playing this game. But god damn do I wish everyone both inside and outside the community were a lot more friendlier and civil and a lot less weird or silent. That and I wish I wasn't constantly made fun of for both playing the game and liking it. Some species we are...

The bad management Genshin is getting would be called out by the whole community if said community was even a little bit serious. It's a matter of principle: it's just unfair towards a lot of people. Dude I’ve played the game for a over a year and never understood the hate for the game or the community from non genshin players but after seeing this vid and hearing about the threats to voice actors I understand why other people would hate it players as myself who plays the game casually and doesn’t engage in discord discussions since it’s paints a negative picture for the whole genshin community

Bold of you to assume that when Hoyo's contract ends CC's will start telling how they really feel about the game, at this point they might be so immersed in their own lies they started to believe in them themselves, they might also just sign an extension of said contract, OR they will be too afraid to speakup in fear of losing their following, cuz we know how much certain part Genshin's community hates hearing criticism about their game
@Theonlyoneclyde11 ай бұрын
That’s true. While there are a few Genshin CCs that are actually cool and even like Tectone (Doro44 is a good example cause he spoke positively about him in livestreams on Twitch), so many other Genshin CCs are shills and will never speak out against the unhinged side of the community and the bad business practices of Hoyoverse in the same manner, if they ever do, their words feel very scripted.

I love that Genshin impact ad played on this video

43:10 wild to associate such an extreme case to a fandom which I'm not proud of being and never interacted with but it's honestly unfair to treat that case as being part of the community. There has to be a better way to divide and look at such cases.

the silencing doesn't only stay in discord... It's also in the official subreddit...

That's why this game will die when Wuthering waves comes out. Nothing will save genshin.

Some advice for everyone, try ignoring the negativity, the only reason you're annoyed with Genshin is you're seeking out the negativity on purpose. Just play the game for you, ignore the trolls.

tectone seems to be focus on negativtiy to much instead of good things in life

Oddly, I didn't actually notice the bubble diaper in Fontaine until just last week...and I still do actually play the game regularly.

I remember the kokomi drama and those were the moments i quit genshin and never looked back. I used to be so embarassed to play genshin after that i just quit

I have played the game since Oct 2020 and had never ever joined or assumed myself belong to the community, really don’t have anything to do with them

In my opinion, being part of the Genshin community doesn't make you toxic or weird, the same as being human doesn't make you a killer. There are bad people in the world that do bad things, but there are people who do good things as well (like Tectone). There is a saying: "A few bad apples spoil the bunch", I believe it is perfect for the Genshin community. Some people do fucked-up things and the whole community gets labeled as being toxic.
@Gaeul-j3j11 ай бұрын
But it’s not some anymore . There are more toxic players.
@jaredjosephsongheng37211 ай бұрын
@@Gaeul-j3j Uhhh maybe do research? For a game that has 64 million monthly active players. The amount of Toxicity I've heard is kinda low don't you think. Yeah I'm pretty sure the Toxic part of the community is the vocal MINORITY in this case.

@@Gaeul-j3j Man I think you're exaggerating. Every KZbin post? Like every single video on KZbin ever?
