I was thinking further north, but I'm not sure. I grew up in south Austin and rarely went north.

@@TuesdaysTurn i feel that. i'm currently in hyde park, but south austin has the best ditches/spots. cool to hear you guys talk about it and getting filled in on the history more. great upload!

@@SidewaysIsDead I went to Crockett. Just north (?) is 5 hips ditch (?) which I still see in videos all the time. Just south on those tracks less than a mile there was a fun ditch we called Mountains Mountain. It's mostly just a bank wall and you need a roll in, like some plywood. I never see it in videos, so it's probably overgrown or gone. We used to skate there all the time in the late 80s though. There was actually a demo there once, and Hosoi was there.

@@TuesdaysTurn its funny you mention that because i spent an afternoon last summer walking along the tracks trying to find Mountain's Mountain. i think you're right, it must be gone now! love 5 hips though! and lizard ditch.

@@SidewaysIsDead Dang that sucks. If you're going south on the tracks from Stassney, you pass Garrison and it was on the right side way before William Cannon. I just checked Google Maps satellite view, and I can still see it, but it looks run down and it could be an old image / it could be gone. If you find Stanley Ave, it's just south of there. There is a small useless ditch before it, between Stanley and Mountains.
