Ted Jelly (28 August 1921 - 16 January 2000)

On the day that Leicester City took on Chelsea in the 2021 F.A Cup Final at Wembley, I posted this interview with the man who played in the club's 1st ever F.A Cup Final in 1949.
Ted Jelly was Leicester City’s right-back in the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was born and bred in Leicester and was signed by City by manager Johnny Duncan in May 1946.
