Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of my favorite shows ever, so when Anthony Head first appeared in Ted Lasso I was super excited to see him. Obviously I knew what an incredible actor he was from watching him play Giles but was is amazing is how often I forget who I am watching when he plays Rupert! I'm always like oh shit, that's right, its Giles!! He is SUCH a good baddie!!

I remember watchin ASH on Buffy when I was like 14 or 15 and thinking he was such a great actor, even then. He really stood out from the rest of the cast as being quite exceptional, and that is saying a lot because there are terrific actors on that show. I am glad to see that he is also acting in so many other shows and films.

I've met a lot of the cast from Buffy and Angel over the years, but I've never had the pleasure of meeting Tony. I've met his daughter, Emily if that counts? 🤔 I don't think I've ever heard anyone say a bad about him? Legend

Edwin Akufo doesn't get a redemption arc either; but I suppose you could argue that he isn't a major enough character to count. Likewise, Shandy's "redemption" happens off screen and is only hinted at in background elements.

He was a major crush of mine 16 and still now at 43. He’s sexy and a great singer :)

I don't think it isn't that his character didn't get redemption it is just he never dealt with his underlying trauma, explored it and was away from Richmond so never experienced the healing qualities of Ted Lasso's ideology.

Spoiler- When he switched his personal assistant, i thought that Nates influence was making him a better person. Not sure if him firing the one he was having the affair with triggered the lawsuit at the end.
