why are they playing in a minor and sounding so flat? The answer: the singer couldn't hit the notes so they changed the key entirely. What a pitty. do it right, or just get over yourself and get a clue, don't do it. sounds SO flat, tonally and emotionally lmao, just sad

You're right in a way but mostly wrong. They are playing in the correct key. But tune your guitar to pitch and try to play with the Tears for Fears version, you're FLAT. You are out of tune with the song. Thats because the pitch of the recording is not standard 440hz. It's somewhere around 450hz which raises the pitch. Apparently from the mastering process and the song being slightly sped up. This is a great and different cover, executed very well. and I think before you comment, maybe have the facts on hand before dissing another musician when he clearly hits nearly the same pitch as the original. Don't be sad :)
