after ankle surgery i wouldnt expect anything huge too fast . id be surprised to see him on the podium before march. though with the talent he has its plausible

He'll probbly be back for Levi in november according to the french ski federation, so he'll miss only 1 GS (that's why I put it 2nd :-) He is already back on skis

lol on the GS runs. He has to step even into the first gate. He has to punch down past the gate when the ski doesn't carve. He gets thrown offline on a small bump. He has to adjust on more than half the gates. And all this on clean snow. If even Ligety can't master the new GS skis, imagine how unpleasant and unsightly GS racing will be during the coming year...
