This was a prototype and not the final product. (see a dictionary for definition of "prototype") Apogee Components has sold over 400 of these, all made by my hand. If you have something better to offer, KZbin is a good place to post your prototype demonstration.

Ahhh, The Mean Machine in the background!!! I wish I still had that kit from my childhood! Nice looking jig by the way!!

Very cool. I think the diamond shaped aperture is clever, because that, along with the V grove, is what allows the jig to accommodate ANY standard model rocket body diameter and fin thickness.

It is a PML Callisto with a 29 mm motor mount and was a gift from my son.

Looks like you've got everything covered; and besides the anti-help you had from the booze, the jig itself looks great!

Very nice concept. I have seen the product available at Apogee website. Are there any plans to offer a larger version that can handle larger rockets, say up to 6" diameter? Compared to other commercially available fin jigs, this one seems reasonably priced if the parts are precision made to ensure accurate alignment. I would just like to have a version for my high-power projects.

Love the idea too but unless this thing is $25 or less I can't see it being worth it. For the money that I can see this thing costing it better make them PERFECT every time. But it is a prototype....
