Great tips! From my experience, the most important is to focus on your audience and use words that relate to them personally.

This is so key - taking proven story telling strategies and translating them into a pitch deck is the only way to create a winning presentation in my opinion. I help founders deconstruct pitch decks using whiteboard software in order to see the core elements of their pitch. Using sticky notes on Miro, I'm able to identify the best order and any gaps in their deck so that it can be reconstructed in a way that sticks.

More directly know your audience. This means appealing to their idealisms but recognizing the real motivators of the wealth hoarding dragon you’re speaking to. It’s important to connect their sense of person good to their exploitative position. Make the villain feel like a good guy. By recognizing the perverse incentives of the capitalist you will be able to manipulate them while persevering your self interest. In the work place there is a similar dynamic but it’s not as prostitute like. By optimistically pitching you open up your self to real pain. KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE, SITUATION, AND CONTEXT!

Except from the mention of the next uber or doordash lol any really big investor ain't looking for that because they know its like a needle in a haystack. They are looking for growth and profit that is all, not the next doordash, if it happens nice but no big investor goes in with that mindset ever because they've most likely been burned countless time! Be careful listening to this, sounds like good advice but some of the points could easily lose you a big investor 🤷 personal experience

Who is doing milk proteins using a soy expression platform? I know several use more of a fermentation process (yeast expression platforms, I think); but I had not heard of milk proteins on soya. Do we have a company name?

I stopped listening at 1.30sec due to you saying the next uber or doordash, any really big investors know that's just not true or a very very slim chance. Maybe some value to this video but just there, you lose the funding. Edit: all a investor is looking for is growth and making some profit. That's their start and if more ENSUES BONUS! Keep it consistent and keep it simple always! Don't low ball yourself and ask for more than you need! (Sounds weird but better to ask for more)
