Hi Wenda, thank you so much! Yes, it was the hottest place and we bailed off to the mountains to keep cool. In fact it was 20 degrees where we were, but then, we had to return and it got emotional lol🥵 Mind you, Coningsby is always the hottest place, they have TYPHOOOOOOOONNNNNSSSS

Thank you so much Gazza Hehe, so that was a cheeky appearance from 'Red Ted', no idea how he got on the set, but thought he'd have his moment of fame 😅😅😅 Thank you, was very hard to get the TedCam in this due to the amount of people, but we do our best. I know! The hottest place! We bailed out and headed for the mountains where it was as low as 20 degrees! But then we returned and it was emotional... 🥵 We will whack on another display later today! Wahhhayyy!!!

Who was the intruder at the start????? It was great to see both of the teams fly past and I have to say we were very impressed with the display from the Black Eagles. I wasn't aware that the Arrows are currently a 7 ship team - any idea why that is Nikos????

hehe, hi Andy, yeah that was 'Red Ted' who couldn't help having a few seconds of fame before he jumped in with the Reds. Yes, we were not expecting that either with the two teams flying together, so an absolutely tremendous surprise. I am not 100% and don't want to cause any speculation, but it could either be cost or this gives the team 2 reserves. They are still technically nine (or ten if you count Red 10 as the supervisor/photographer) but display in formation sequences with seven. So for example, I believe in a general flypast, they would have all nine, but when displaying they will have seven. I must add, that when watching them train all year, they only used seven, so this was a decision a while back I guess. All above answers are just my own examination, but it is all I know from what I have seen.

@@TedConingsby Thanks Nikos, that sounds perfectly plausible. I'd also factor in that they're the only users of the Hawk T1 and there's likely to be a spares issue given the age of the aircraft. Nice to meet "Red Ted"......he's a cheeky chap!!!

@@andywhite40 Yes, that is a good point, many of the T1's from 100 Sqn (RAF Leeming) have been painted red already and spares would be an issue as they have retired the T1, well said. Red Ted...yeah he couldn't resist it. 😅😅😅
