Will - Lomachenko lost his second pro fight by a close, and questionable, decision and became a world champion in his third. That's the result of a fighter actually pushing them self. And he's only getting better.

Jeff Glover true that man he is great and getting better I love watching loma but teddy is already ranking him above guys that are undefeated and have done more and are champions as well. He will need to get past rigo and that’s for starters. Gary russel is his most impressive to date.
@manicmute9440
@manicmute9440 6 жыл бұрын
The only people who remain undefeated are those who don't push to their full potential and beyond. Lomachenko has done that and so the loss shouldn't be held against him whilst using other boxers 0s as a sign of superiority. You think other boxers are p4p better (I find the whole p4p thing a load of bullshit btw), fine, but that 1 shouldn't even come into your decision.
@manicmute9440
@manicmute9440 6 жыл бұрын
Did they push themselves to the point of taking a world title fight in their second pro match? Stop acting like a little bitch, I've all ready said I don't give a shit about p4p, so save it for someone that cares. What a sad little bitch you are.

Wlad got old, slow thus got caught. If Wlad was 10 years younger heavyweight division would still be ''boring'' and we wouldnt know who any of these other guys were. AJ ticket sales boomed when Wlad lost the titles. People like competitive fights, Wlad didnt make fights competitive in his prime. Coming off a one sided L, 2 years inactive and 2 previous bad performances starting with Jennings, i knew the fight would be competitive but honestly didnt think Wlad would drop AJ. Telling

@ssoouull

Teddy Atlas obviously made this observation before Wilder displayed that world class jab against Stiverne November 4. THAT jab plus his power, in my opinion, has Wilder top of the division by far. That being said, I would LOVE to see Wilder and Joshua get in the ring.
@ssoouull
@ssoouull 6 жыл бұрын
neil saxton , it's not just THAT he beat him. It's also HOW he beat him and in how convincing a fashion. Stiverne WAS fat and out of shape. BUT that jab was deadly and thrown beautifully. The right hand after the jab was thrown straight. Great form and power. The rest of it was wide and raw. Wilder is improving. In my opinion, he is top of the division. But that is why they fight the fights and not just talk about it. I can't wait for these two to fight!
@ssoouull
@ssoouull 6 жыл бұрын
neil saxton , also...there is a reason that other fighters use PEDs before they fight Wilder. Wilder keeps trying to fight the best...and the best keep finding ways not to fight him. Even Joshua doesn't sound anxious.

A legend in Klitchsko has his most exciting fight vs A young undefeated UK Super star champ! Both men showed tremendous heart and balls and came into the fight in tip top shape Exchanging Knockdowns and going for the kills. Then there recovery skills where remarkable also the High level boxing in between like we haven't seen in years because both have Pedigrees! It's an instant classic is all anyone is saying it belongs in the history books especially if Joshua becomes a Great champ into the future like most predict! Plus we have 50,60,70,80,90,100 inch HD tvs right now it's 2017 and the Atmosphere was ridiculous in that Arena.... I just want to 👋 the fuck outta the people who bringing up all the Old fights we know bout them thats why we love boxing already just add this ☝️ to the history books WTF! Epic fight and If you're a Klitchsko fan u can always say dam wish ref hadn't stopped it!!!! Heavyweight division is back fellas Wilder & Parker rocking the other straps AJ gonna try and Get them Fury still the lineal making his comeback you got King Kong in the picture will Vlad retire? 🔥

@nanaki3185
@nanaki3185 6 жыл бұрын
I understand exactly what you're talking about dumbass, it's you who should look into a course on reading comprehension. Perhaps you don't know much about grammar... I said "Klitschko fought much better fighters than Wilder." As written that sentence is interpreted as: Klitschko has fought fighters who are much more talented and dangerous in the ring than Wilder will ever be. You're the one that brought up previous competition and attempted to throw shade on Klitschko. Klitschko was not scared of Wilder, Klitschko fought and annihilated much better competition, the man ended his career at 64-4 which consisted of him clearing the HW 4 times. But, yeah, he's a bum like everyone on Wilder's record... Wilder has fought who again? Arreola? Stiverne 1 (who took him the distance, oh right he "broke his hand")? Stiverne 2 (the time when the guy hadn't been to the gym in 2 years)? Ortiz has been his only fight with any clout, and even then the only thing that WIlder shows is that he clubs people with rabbit punches, and that he has decent enough KO power to get lucky. 40 fights to 20, but you want to talk shit about AJ's record? AJ has fought better competition in his last 5 fights than Wilder has seen in all 40 put together. For what the division consists of AJ's record is not trash, unlike Wilder's. The 40 year old Klitschko that AJ beat would have ended Wilder, get real. Wild swinging vs. Klitschko never turned out well, but don't take my word for it check tape. AJ will fight and embarrass Wilder. The problem has been to this point Wilder believes he deserves a 50% cut, he doesn't. This is the pros, not amateur sport, the name of the game is making money. Like I said STFU and pick a different sport fag. Facts vs. your dimwitted "unbiased" opinion.

Wilder's power is overstated, all these guys have power, and if you haven't noticed Joshua knocks people dead as well, he may even be more powerful in fact. What it comes down to is technique, punch IQ, speed, accuracy and heart. Its the shot you don't see that knocks you out, thats why these factors are so important, ask Mike Tyson, speed kills not power. I know Americans want to jump all over Wilder as their new heavyweight saviour but open your eyes, he has fought nobody other than Stiverne who is also a bum, and some of these bums he hasn't even looked good against. He loses to Joshua, Fury and Klitschko, and possibly Ortiz though I give him more chance there. He proved this lack of understanding himself when he tweeted the video of him windmilling some bum as if it was meant to be impressive.. Really? straight embarrassing.

Personally Atlas is living in the past. I watched the Lyle fight. It was good but wasn't great. The rumble in the jungle fight was great because of the fairytale storyline and the heart Ali showed. In terms of how far sweet science has technically moved on though, you cannot compare it to the cruiserweight days of Jack Johnson. Due to how the fight went with all the knock-downs, skills, speed, stamina and heart shown by both boxers, Joshua v Kiltschko should easily go down as one of the greatest HW fights of all time.

I was very lucky to grow up in the late 80's and 90's HW era. These two would be forced, even by a couthouse, to face each other, as there was too many good fighters waiting for their chance. Teddy is pure knowledge that is why I never bet on what he says (give me a minute to explain), first of the man knows 20 lifetimes of boxing no doubt, my point is Teddy's angle is this, from listening to him for a lot years, he has a bias towards the technical aspect of things and always comes from that angle as he probably should but if you are a betting man you have to come from many aspects, such as confidence of a fighter, age, life experience etc...is his family life strong that it supports the rest of the athletes talents , is he/she hungry for the game, and so forth, technic helps a great deal but is not the only thing, your camp, coaches, you need all those others to help you win and assess who the better man is stepping on that ring. Again I respect Tony Atlas and watched him for a lot years, he has a great passion, tells it like it is ,never afraid to say when a fighter got robbed , always puts a great perspective on what each fighter should do to win, a legend in the boxing game in his own right.

I like how he mentioned firpo vs dempsey fight that legit was the greatest heavyweight fight of all fuckin time never have i seen a fight like that in my life firpo goes down 9 times 7 times before ultimately falling another 2 times after he somehow in the midst of all the carnage rise above the voices in the crowd and managed to blast jack dempsey through the ropes and than dempsey gets back in with a fire in his heart and soul to absolutely give punishment to his opponent stopping firpo after 9 knock downs and firpo knocked dempsey throuhh yhe ropes only to fight back an win truly the best boxing match for heavyweight boxing i ever seen maybe greatest boxing match of all time goes to dempsey firpo idk what it was abour kid blackie that made him unlike any other boxer and 1L on his pro record that is a controversial loss too yet he never spoke bad about the loss because you can blame it on the ref for not counting fast enough u can blame jack dempsey himself for not going to clause of his neutral corner to be in effect either way tunney arose and floored dempsey in the later rounds but dempsey fought on to the finish yea fights back than were pretty wild they had no neutral corner so it made things more interesting for the sport if boxing wasnt so weird and not the way it was made than boxing would be way way way way more popular than the ufc i seen my share of black and white boxing films things were more ferocious with no neutral corners inwanna see the same in color no neutral corners and take away that extra added rope over the four ropes so fighters can get punched through the ropes more i see they do their all to protect the amazing things that happened before in boxing from nit happening i like wilder over all other heavyweughts cause he brings that old fashioned sense to the division the days when it was no neutral corner the days where dempsey was king of the heavyweights until joe louis dominated for years to come until marciano forcefully took that belt than patterson as somehow the mandatory an basically got it off a popularity contest um lets see joshua is a floyd patterson wilder is a new age ali mixed with dempsey

This guy knows his stuff. The sheer mention of Sam Langford and Jack Johnson shows he knows his stuff. Boxing has had such a bad run in the heavyweight division. Joshua was exposed and need to get a trainer like Atlas or someone right now.

Many people are going on old scouting and I see Wilder moved in a direction.He injured his right hand,so for weeks was only able to work with his left,..RESULT: his jabs are THUNDER.Striverne fight,was so fast wasn't enough to show the changes he made,but he made them.He was using a left and right thunder jab to slide out when ever he chose.Controlled range.I know I am no Teddy Atlas or Larry Merchant but I feel it's in the match up.This isn't wrestling.The coordinated man is Deontay Wilder.Joshua is going to be prone to a inside game and if Deontay can control range,don't get lazy and allow the inside slug fest will be to his benefit.I like how he was using the left and right jabs to slide out in Striverne fight.If I was him,I'd pour it on from jump, and do same thing.Klitchko and Whyte had to fight that fight, but with coordination,speed,power,faster feet,Wilder needs to act like the more coordinated fighter in and out with jabs waiting for the big showstopper kingdom silencer.If he gets lazy and allows the slow pound for pound inside bout,he will be counting on a knock out.I wouldn't go into any fight only counting on that.Sometimes through history it never came.Also absorbing those inside shots cause fatique.Going in like this,the knock shot presents itself but always plan on "The hard route"..Step Jabs occupy as he slides out left or right.His range is phenominal,tagging from so far back.The great fighters can continue that for entire fight if need be and I think Deontay Wilder is there (conditioning wise).THOSE EARLY FIGHTS WHERE HE JUST SET THERE IN GUARD ALLOWING A TRADE OFF,was bad conditioning and lazy..WONT SEE ANY GOOD CHAMPIONS IN MODERN ERA JUST SETTING THERE,THE WINNERS ARE RELENTLESS WORKERS AND CAN DO THAT FOR TWELVE.IF DEONTAY IS THAT COORDINATED BIG MAN SET UP LIKE A MUSTANG GT WILLING TO KEEP MOVING,HE WILL WIN.The knock out would present itself naturally.
