Tyson himself would be the first to admit that. He was a young, violent and angry man who had the power to obliterate people. Not the best combination. Though I would say that he’s redeemed himself over time. He seems much wiser now, very regretful of his past actions and seems to actively try going towards the right path nowadays. Dude’s basically living out Kratos’s character arc.

@ Fred Garvin Teddy did not continue with Tyson. It was Kevin Rooney, who at that time was still training as a welterweight fighter, transitioned from fighter to trainer, just as Teddy had done. Kevin had already been training within the peek-a-boo system, which worked to perfection all the way up to the Spinks fight. By that time Cus was dead from natural causes and co-mgr. Jim Jacobs had succumbed to cancer. For whatever reason, Tyson was never fond of Bill Cayton his other co-mgr. and Don King played the race card with Tyson. Even if Tyson chose King over Cayton, that's one thing, but if King truly had Tyson's best interests at hand, then he would have made sure that Kevin remained Tyson's trainer. Clearly, there was a variety of seasoned, more experienced trainers than Kevin was, but none of those trainers had such an intimate knowledge of the peek-a-boo style...Kevin did and it showed after his firing.

sidefx996 he never groped or assaulted the girl who was basically the same age as him. If a grown man is measured by size then it’s a lot of adults at the age of 12, a grown man should never put a gun to a kid under any circumstances, and what’s wrong with a 12 year old making advances with an 11 year old, sounds like it’s cause he’s black to me

@@austinpotts2605 Obviously dude, thats why gun rights are so important because firearms are the great equalizer and they give people smaller, weaker and god forbid disabled physically a chance to survive and defend themselves and their family, this is especially the case for women who would be able to defend themselves against a would be rapist or a domestic abusive partner, otherwise 99% of the time a man is able to easily physically overpower a women, also important for the elderly, such a shame I don't live in a free country where my right to self protection is not only allowed by law, but respected by most people and states lol, (And for the record I follow the UK's laws in regards to this issue even though they're wrong not only logically but morally) Apologies for the long message lol.
@nurfalkner1670
@nurfalkner1670 5 жыл бұрын
@@lukemcinerny8220 I doubt that self protection is forbidden in the UK. You don't need firearms in a country with working and fast reacting police. Every statistic makes it pretty clear, that you're safer in a country with gun restrictions. The few situations where a defender would profit from a gun, are heavily outnumbered by situations where a legal gun will be misused.

It doesn't seem Tyson got the message though because this behavior persisted. Tyson needed good therapy early in life but instead he got it later. Better late than never. Terrifying them only gets temporary results, and then the problem comes back tenfold ; there's always underlying issues causing those kinds of behaviors
