This colorway is a prime example of why I think the V6 is going to REALLY grow on people in time. When we get really clean colorways that utilize the upper and all the different panels well, the shoe is a hit. Not to mention the fuel cell in these makes them super comfortable

Thanks for doing this review Sean. Unfortunately my pair was hit with terrible QC… the tan suede strip on the back of my left shoe was visibly shorter than the right, random glue stains on the front guard & various asymmetrical issues with the detailing. Such a shame considering they are a MiUSA model. Best of luck to anyone copping, be sure to check your pairs carefully!

Just pick up a pair for my wife in women's size from the EU footdistrict for a discount, price is wonderful, in Taiwan these are selling for around 270USD... Can't wait to receive it and give her a surprise. It's a great video by the way, you always present the best of the shoe itself.

I have 550’s and 574’s… this’ll be my first 990’s of any version. So looking forward to them arriving today and grateful for the half sizes, I have a wide foot and am between a 10 & 11 UK. Appreciate the reviews @Seango certainly helped in making the decision 👍

@@RobertoLaimer1987 I bought the 10.5 and they fit great. Almost perfectly comfortable straight out of the box, 2 hours in and you don’t know they’re on your feet. I can honestly say that the 990v6 are one of if not the most comfortable trainers I have ever owned.

I got my pair straight from New Balance site, it came with permanent paint marks on the tongue and on the sole. I got in touch with their customer support, they told me they can't be returned and is giving me the run around and telling me to email them pictures. Lets see how they respond

I think it’s a good looking shoe but it just doesn’t do it for me and I’m a sucker for brown, cream and grey color blocking but the 9060 driftwood colorway just did it better imo and I have those so getting these just isn’t in me but glad so many people loved these and they’re not too difficult to get.

@SeanGo yup,I asked them about it first they said that pair only comes with one set of laces, then they backtracked and said that some pairs come with an extra set and some don't. Then they recommended me to buy more laces off Amazon if I wanted to as they wouldn't ship me any extra laces. I've never had a problem with new balance but that seems a Lil weird that for a $220+ shoe they don't make sure everyone gets the same items in the box

This is so sad I bought 1500's made in UK about 10 years ago and they still look nice, very well spend money but last year I bought 991 made in UK as well, and this time it got this ugly fake leather which is so cheap that it looked bad after 6 months of babysitting. Avoid NB's with fake leather as it will get ugly very quickly.
