On Christmas Eve 2016, two days before my dad had a stroke which prevented him from reaching 100 years old, I sat next to my dad in church, as he held a lit candle and sang this song. I closed my eyes and listened to his beautiful, precious voice, fully present. Listening to Teddy Swims sing this is helping me release my grief. I am obsessed and grateful to have stumbled upon this amazing human singing this song. I have shared it with so many people and I have sent his Christmas cd to a few people. Teddy Swims is an amazing storyteller with a hauntingly beautiful voice, and I am now a fan forever.

Christmas is not my favorite holiday because my dad's birthday is Dec 27. I lost my dad & mom a few years ago & the holidays have never been the same BUT this video made a little bit easier to deal with. Thanks Teddy. Keep sharing your instrument with the world.
