Got the Hesalite a couple of months ago and I swear I have never worn a watch that sits better on the wrist. It's so incredibly comfortable, crazy. And well obviously it looks great as well.

Was bummed to see my watch #18 Breitling Navitimer GMT 41 missing the Sweet 16, but also glad to see that my next watch of consideration Grand Seiko SBGA211 Snowflake as #2. It’s like Christmas Morning! I had The Speedmaster and The Grand Seiko In my top 10. As a matter of fact I had 5 of the top 10 Picked ! I am a Proud Owner of the SpeedMaster and wasn’t Shocked to see it take TOP HONORS. I thought the Rolex 41 Was going to Make it to Final 2 but The Snowflake is #2. Love these Competitions! Next price bracket. Better? The Hesalite is the OG, and less flashy (all brushed) than the sapphire version. It’s the one to get as a collector with many watches I’d say.

For me, it is inconceivable that an Omega watch with a Hesalite glass is voted in 1st place. Nowadays this kind of watch at this price that does not have sapphire glass is just a scandal. It should not even exist in production anymore. I think that those who voted for it do not know what it is like to have it on your wrist and fear every second of scratching the glass of the watch. Amen !

What’s there not to understand - for a brand like Omega, it’s a relatively well priced chronograph. It’s iconic as in it has been around for a long time. A lot of watches are lifted to stardom because of an association with a person or an event, the Speedmaster’s association cannot be topped by topped by any event here on earth.

The OMEGA MoonWatch is legendary. However, I opted for the 2005 Day-Date Speedmaster in blue (with silver crown) and I think it looks far better.

Rolex OP41 over Aqua Terra Lacquer shows how boring people are. There is no doubt that the AT is the better watch in any measure and yet people only see the Crown. Hell, a Ball Engineer M 40mm is better than a OP41. And a Cartier Dumont getting knocked out? SMH
