The only negative I have about this watch is the case back engraving, I wish it was a bit "softer". Meaning, the circular ridge irritates my wrist a bit, the edge is too sharp. I contacted Ball, inquiring about a more plain case back, unfortunately they don't have that available. My only solution is to cut circular disks out of Kinesio tape every so often and stick it over the engraving, it works. I do wish it was more plain like my U1. Other than that, it's a great looking and very accurate watch!

The lugs to turn down quite a bit, but almost 54mm lug-to-lug might be a bit much for me. I'd have to try it on. 51/52 is doable on my 7.25" wrist for sure. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I did notice a bit of Pelagos feel, which is good as I'd been eyeing that recently for a big purchase in 2022. I don't love the date position, but understand the reasoning with the Tritium tube design. I do love the knurling on the bezel, as well as on the crown on the Ball. The overall look is great, especially that bracelet and the pop of color with the seconds hand.

Just added this badboy to my collection it is very very comfortable especially with the Bracelet 18cm wrist sits perfectly as the Bracelet drops like female links already had a few compliments and l can tell you if your looking for a serious masculine diver ....this piece won't disappoint!

I have a Ball Fireman Racer that was my daily watch for 2 years. After sending it for service for movement issues, it has been replaced with a vintage Omega Seamaster. Better quality and finishing.

Since you have connections with balls watch makers , can you suggest some of thier dressier lines in 38 mm or less? The only thing stopping me from snatching one is the size, I imagine lots of other people are on the fence for same reason.

Love Ball watches. But there are no ADs that sell them in Denmark so thats sadly the reason iam not getting one. I want to try it on like the Roadmaster icebreaker and Marvellight have been on my list. But dont think i will have the chance to try them on ever.
