I don't know why I waited so long to buy one, but I just bought the 42mm blue/rose gold variant, and it is absolutely beautiful. Wears relatively true to size maybe like a 41mm. I do am extremely happy with the purchase.

Try it on, you might be surprised. My wrist is very skinny (6.2 inches I think) and it wears just fine. Wears more like a 41 than a 42.

I've got exactly this spec, and it is truly stunning. The green dial on the mesh just shimmers and glints from every angle. It's sumptuous. Love the retro hands and bezel a real nod to the past

such a great watch for the money and def under appreciated. History and very nice - a great modern interpretation of the 1957 original. fav version is the black dial but in blue and other colors are also very nice. The movement from Kenissi is excellent and the bracelet is top notch . Wears smaller than the 42mm dimensions as the dial aperture is scaled perfectly imho

Got the green dial in 46 on the rubber strap, love it. Tried some Tudors but fell in love with the green dial, it's stunning in the flesh.

I got this one in blue with 18k red gold bezel. It is for sure one of my favorites in my entire collection , including 3 Breitling watches and just as Teddy mentioned if you compare it to some of the other offers from Breitling it is pretty decent from a value perspective!

Buy it! You won’t ever regret it. Rolex (Tudor) make some of the most remarkable movements as well. With that inside, there is nothing to complain about. High quality and dependability.

A small take on the bracelet, on my opinion it is phenomenal. Yes it lacks adjustment on the fly but apart from that it is one of the best bracelets out there. Very comfortable and extremely well built.

I purchased the 42mm stainless steel with rose gold in black with black rubber strap in April and I am extremely happy. Prefer it to my submariner. I enjoy it so much that I think I will get the green dial and also the blue dial too.

I have plenty of wrist space for a 42 but 14.3mm is pretty thick for a 200m dive watch. Put that on a NATO and it balances "like a mattress balances on a bottle of wine". IYKYK

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

I had this exact same green one but I sold It after a year or so, and got a 40 mm chronomat gmt instead. The green SOH II was my dream watch but It's just a little too big for my taste and especially also too thick/bulky. Winding the movement and rotating the bezel just doenst feel luxurious. And even though the chonomat gmt has a modified ETA inside. It feels way more refined than the SOH tudor movement. I also don't understand why Breitling has to make the date wheel white on the green SOH and the green chonomat 40 mm. If It's so hard to color match the date wheel ( which microbrands that cost 1/10th can) then at least make It black. Thats why I have the blue chronomat with a matching date wheel

The lume on these isn't going to be a strong point because of its styling. It has crisp and elegant markers and hands. If you want big bold lume, you end up with big plasticy looking lumps on the dial.

I dont get Breitling. The Superocean comes with a 2824/SW200 and this one comes with the same movement as a Tudor. But the price difference is around 200 Chf? Why?

I agree with you. I owned a black face in 42mm and when I first saw it at the AD it looked fantastic so I went for it. It was shiny and it stood out. Over time, however, I noticed how simple and uninteresting the case construction was. After a few months condensation appeared under the crystal and the watch failed a pressure test and had to be sent back to Switzerland for repairs. These repairs took multiple months. When the watch arrived, I decided to move on as the love affair was over and I sold it for a huge loss.
