Ruka is the member that embodies YG the most, she is giving CL X MINZY X GD vibes. Insane stage presence while doing the bare minimum, she just commands the stage..natural born star tbh. Her unique rap flow, her confidence…you can tell she knows how to work the stage. She definitely blew me away while just giving me a whole trip down memory lane of OG YG.

People were saying her performance was underwhelming but I didn't feel that at all and absolutely loved her swag and delivery, so it's great to hear someone as knowledgeable in rap as you to give her a chefs kiss for her breathing and technique. And you also recognized her experience...it was shared that she is someone who genuinely loves hip hop and dancing, and embodies it in every aspect of her performance.

I personally think what we will see out of this group will be The BlackPink recipe. Think about it "BabyMonster" (if that will indeed be their name) is similar to Black dark vicious side and Pink cute side -- Baby cute side, Monster killer side. These cute Monsters will stomp on everything and eat.I also believe the recipe will be the same in songs. Effortlessly blending genera between Rap, Hip Hop, Pop back and forth between members. If you think this is anything like what we will see I have to disagree. Just wait until they come out in their Fits, together, dance, sing, rap with YG MV producers skills and sets

If the rumour are right... Then They won't be like blackpink. Infact i think their name "BabyMoster" is "Monster" talent in "Baby" (young) body... I mean YG himself said in intro video "Think them as babies with YG gens" so, they'll be like BIGMAMA or 2NE1 more closer to the YG roots, meaning more hip-hop and rap stuff than blackpink and i think that'll ease the pressure of BabyMoster by a lot as by doing same concept like blackpink they'll be always compared to blackpink and it's impossible to win against blackpink in their concept.

The dance performance I really enjoyed 🔥 Seeing the amount of team work and the way they catch the adlibs with their moves and not just the main beat. I love that! I think the way they dance is giving an insight to the type of music they will create. In my opinion ahyeon is the weakest member. Sure she is an all rounder, she can sing, rap and dance. But her vocal is not that impressive, same with her rap. But I kinda sure she will become the next IT Girl, cause she has that aura that korean like.

Props to her for singing and rapping to the song which is done by two people.

Lisa and Jennie stressed how well the Baby Monster members work together. (Big Mama, also from YG, are some of the best harmonizers around.) And it's so obvious that all of the Baby Monsters are passionate about their art. I think they're going to have a lot of fun with their dancing, working out routines, giving each other support... I can't wait for the debut. But I bet YG wants to do a prolonged drum roll before the actual debut. So we wait. It's going to be lightning coming out of the bottle.

That's why I'll keep an eye on them, that's also why I try to listen to girl groups that catch my ear (but that's rare, because for a weird reason, I'm not easily touched by female voices... I'm so sad to be a woman for this reason xD I love to sing but I want felix's voice :P). It would be long to explain why I feel "scared" when I click on a girl group MV, and it would be dangerous to go on and speak about specific groups when I didn't dig into them enough to actually know what I'm talking about. But to me, I feel like girl groups have it harder to express themselves (especially when they're that young). I mean, boy groups have it hard too, I think about Jimin who forced himself to look though because that's what a man in a hip-hop band should look like... And he's definetely not the only example. All those incredible artists that felt frustrated because the company didn't let them fully express themselves... But I feel like for girl groups it's worse. I won't speak too deep here, english isn't my first language and I'm tired so it would lead to misunderstandings. I'll just say I hope they can show what they want to show. Sing with their real voice. Express their uniquenesse in their outfits and dance moves. I hope that for each idol I guess, but for now female idols that made me feel "oh, she's real !" are very rare. I have no hate for anyone. But I feel scared and sad very often.

Honnestly, even tho there are more boy groups that suit my taste, I can't say I follow a lot of them ^^'' and I can't pretend to be in any fandom either, even tho I know a lot about some of them. So, I'm not saying one gender is better than the other one xD On the contrary, I think we might need mor co-ed groups like KARD tbh ! That could be a healthy move as long as they do it well. If there are more girl groups that suit your taste and you feel confortable around them, that's GREAT !
