awesome reaction Teddy! @4:38 the weird creep went after Haneul (cute blonde in the white jersey) IN THE WOMEN'S restroom, that's why the other girls went to help her out, pushing him into the stall and throwing the trash can over, and that's the 1st time they met Haneul! U gotta watch their solo MV's and their other pre-release track "Bye My Neverland" to full grasp their debut concept, they are all connected, its basically a movie and "Shhh" is the 3rd act and the end credits is their 1st group performance together! ALL the members were actually ex-trainees from other big k-pop companies and finally got their chance to debut with a smaller company S2 and Kiss of Life! All the music videos are loosely based on their story to debut especially Natty!

This is their debut song and I already like them and the style they are going for!! Not so much informed about them yet as i just discovered them but i do know they are all ex-trainees of the big entertainment companies and they are all above 18.

i saw a clip of the choreography section on twitter and they immediately caught my eye. i wasn't sure of the song on first listen, but it very quickly grew on me. the rollout of their debut was also super unique, and very well done. a group to definitely watch out for in the future.

They are brand new. I believe most of the girls, or at least a couple, have a long history of trying to break into the industry and just missing the cut with groups that are huge now. (Twice for example).

So as others have said, it's a brand new group, this was their debut but they all released a solo song in the lead up to it. Natty was already known to some people, she appeared on Sixteen, which is the survival show that formed Twice, who along with Blackpink are the biggest 3rd gen girl group, but she was eliminated towards the end. She was only around 12 at the time, so probably for the best. She also went on Idol School which is the show that formed fromis_9 (one of my favourite groups) but once again was eliminated at the end. Following that, she actually had 2 solo releases in 2020 which she regularly performed on music shows, but has been relatively quiet since then, until finally she was announced for this group! The title of the song is also kind of a play on words? In Korean, the way you write "Shhh" is 쉿 which sounds very close to "shit" in English. Obviously it was only ever really intended to be that, but I imagine some kind of censorship in Korea would have hit them if they'd gone for that. On a broader note, swearing in kpop was very much a no-no for many years, but there has been a few examples in the last year or two of some groups starting to work some of that kinda stuff in to their releases. It's still not something you'd expect to see them doing in day to day life, but I wouldn't be surprised to find it being a bit more normal 12 months from now. Having been in to kpop for so many years at this point, it's still kinda weird to me to see belly buttons making their way back after being hidden for so long, so I'm not sure if I'll get used to the swearing any time soon but we'll see. Song was great though and I can't wait for more from them. I really hope it's successful.

The group features Runaway, Abandoned, Yolo, Famous. Their solo debut focuses on story you better watch it first. I swear they're like Black Pink Bside track when you hear it (which means I'm addicted)

I have to admit sometimes I have a harder time getting into girl groups because stuff can feel a bit too sexualised as the go to approach, they don't seem to get the same chance to do powerful or playful in my limited experience, but Kiss Of Life really got me with this one. I liked the attitude and style, and of course their voices and dance are great. I can't remember which but I know one of them is a producer, and I always love a group who do production too just because it feels like you get to know them better through their choices. I'm excited to see what they do next, and it's nice to have a slightly older group debuting to follow as well. I get the vibe that this group have something to say and I'm interested to see it play out.

Alright, so you kinda started at the completely wrong end of Kiss of Life. This is actually the LAST music video in a series of 6. There are four solo MVs, one for each member, and two full group MVs. They all tell one connected story that makes a lot more sense if you watch them in order. The proper order for Kiss of Life is: 1. Sugarcoat (Natty solo) 2. Countdown (Belle solo) 3. Kitty Cat (Julie solo) 4. Play Love Games (Haneul solo) 5. Bye My Neverland 6. Shh Why the order matters: the solos tell the stories of the girls' individual lives before they all met, Bye My Neverland is the one that brings them all together and Shh is the proper start of the friendship. That said, I really like this debut! One of the most interesting ones in recent memory. And giving everyone a solo first really helps to show their individual talents!
